A very good box - durable and well designed. I am using mine for storing sugar-crafting materials, so it is perfect. If using for DIY tools, some people may find it a little on the small side. Would be perfect for a smaller amount of tools, but wouldn't hold a full collection of trade tools. I have included some images comparing it in size to a standard 30cm ruler and a standard tin of soup. The box has a built-in hasp to take a lockable padlock.

Good size and just what I wanted TBH. Catch is a little flimsy but I wont be using it ever day otherwise I dot think it would last long with constant open and closing.

Describing this tool box as rugged may be overstating it’s durability as the plastic walls are not as thick as they could be and although the clasp is metal, it grips a rather thin piece of plastic. That said, compared to other boxes at this price point it is good value and robust enough for domestic use. The size hits the sweet spot between carrying capacity and bulk and I like that the handle locks into place and there are none of those silly little compartments on the top.

Have had this about 6 months now and haven't had any issues with it as of yet. Has lots of storage space and is super sturdy. Really like this and think its completely worth the money.

It’s a good enough tool box, but is not as big as you might think. I bought this one and another of the same brand. Both are small. I should have got one bigger one I think, from the black and yellow brand. Lesson learnt.

Dispite what some reviews and the question seems to answer, you can lock this toolbox with a padlock (see photo). It is fairly large and fitted all of my tools in - after using a multitude of boxes for years. It feels pretty sturdy and overall I am happy. I just wish it had some storage trays on top for bits.
