Amazon Basic Care Daytime Cold and Flu Relief gets the job done. It’s not the most exciting or best-tasting cold medicine out there, but it works when you need it. Product is okay however not coded correctly for HSA. It is coded as a grocery store item and not as a medicine. Repeatedly denied and had to pay with an alternative method.

I replenish my "cold care kits" every year (day time meds, nighttime meds, cough drops, tissues, etx). I nearly always purchased Amazon Basic Care items- good quality, good price. I either get this basic daytime or I will buy their daytime with the addition of an expectorant . I also like to have a nighttime version on hand too. For quick reference there is only once difference between the two: THIS Amazon Basic Care Daytime has: Acetaminophen 325 mg (Pain reliever/fever reducer) Dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg (Cough suppressant) Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg (Nasal decongestant) The one I linked to simply has the addition of Guaifenesin 200 mg (expectorant). Both are alcohol and histamine free. A must have for the cold care kit. We're coming up on cold season, so it is time to replenish. I have always been pleased with Amazon branded products, so confidence was already high that this would serve the same way as the name brand. I dont rate on price. I rate on quality, personal experience, and how product description and what I got lines up. I think it is a fine product, and will consider it again and again. Depending on your region, you may be able to pick up a generic, or maybe even the name brand for similar price. But if one compares the single bottle brand name to the single bottle of this on this shopping platform, then this Amazon Basic Care is less than half the price.

Have no problem with product. Its the shipper amamzon drivers dont leave where i ask. Common problemwith the majority. They dont read instructions.

Works well. Didn't notice any drowsiness during a bad week of having a cold. Tastes better than a lot of other cough medicines.
