Twinkles To Go Octo

We received one of these in a subscription box. My son absolutely loved it. So much so, we decided to get one for my younger son. He as well loves it. This one is different than the other one we received. The first one had green and blue lights- they could fade between the colors or they could be green or blue. We never used the fade feature- so I wasn't terribly disappointed when I realized this one did not have that option. It does however have an additional color of red lights. I read a study where it claimed dimmed red lights were the most relaxing/sleep inducing. I don't know, but I'll take any relaxing/sleep inducing strategy I can take when it comes to my youngest son. These lights are definitely worth the extra money. We have an array of night lights and none of them were loved quite like these ones. I don't know why, I don't try to understand the mind of my toddlers. But if you're torn between which night light to get for your little one, I say you can't go wrong with this one!

Bought this for my first baby as a newborn. We used it in our room while he slept in there and my husband and I fell in love with it. It casts a beautiful scene on the walls and ceiling. It’s mostly stars with the occasional fish. Choice of blue/green light colors or autoswitching of the two. The light stays on a good 45 minutes with fresh batteries and the batteries tend to last a while even with every night use or 1-2 times a night. Loved it so much, I bought a second one for my daughter. Looks exactly the same, but she has 3 color choices red, green, blue or multi.

Out of all the night light options out there, this is the one I would buy again. It's simple to operate, sturdy, and doesn't need a bunch of cables or to be plugged in (tripping hazard). It's also cute and gives off a nice glow.

I love how it has 3 different color settings. I wished that it.played music and the actual stars would be more 360 degree. It does project on the entire ceiling so for that im disappointed. But she loves it so...

We've had two of these night lights, and our grandchildren love them. I ruined the first when it didn't turn on after being in a drawer for a couple of months, and changing the batteries didn't make any difference. I checked the wiring, and battery contacts, and was pretty sure the LED wasn't even into Year 1 of its 100 Year Life, so it got tossed. When the replacement arrived I installed the new batteries..., and it didn't work. So, I tried another set of batteries, and they didn't work either. It was at this point my wife asked if I had pushed the "On" button located on the back of the octopus. I hadn't, of course, thinking the on/off switch was the one on the bottom of the toy. Yes, it worked after I pushed the button, and I immediately realized the other one would probably have worked, too. So, there are two on/off switches. The one on the bottom, and another on the back. The second push button switch on the back toggles light's appearance.

My 2 year old loves this light! We got in the habit of letting him fall asleep in bed with us, but it wasn't our intention to co-sleep and he was moving around so much we weren't getting any sleep. We decided we were going to sleep train him however we didn't want to let him just lay there and cry. I bought the Octo Plush and it was just what we needed. It was something new and exciting for bed time and it kept him distracted enough to let us sneak out of the room and have him fall asleep without tears. Now he goes to bed with no problems, requests that we turn his Octo Plush on, picks the color, and we have a much more happy & rested family.

My kids absolutely love these. We bought them when my twins moved to their own beds and could not see the stars we'd use in their room as well. Now they can each have one in their bed with them for all the stars they want. There are options for different colors as well, which is fun. My habit-loving children never like the different colors and stick with the blue every time, though. The light does turn off on its own eventually, but that's usually enough time for them to fall asleep. If they wake up, they can put it back on easily on their own. It's two buttons--one for on/off and one for color. They're also easy to handle for kids and small hands.

I wish this could stay on all night since Lo wakes up sometimes and is bored staring at the dark ceiling. Since its battery operated it goes off after a while...maybe 45 minutes. Also because the stars dont move LO notices them when they come on for the first few seconds and gets bored with it pretty fast.

The product was excellent no damage working very good the light was bright but the problem it has no sound and no song it is just a light.
