Very comfortable
I purchased this for our guest bedroom. We previously had a feather bed on top of the mattress which was very soft, but "pokey" from the feathers. Comfortable on sofa bed
The mattress was bought to use on a sleep sofa as an overlay to the mattress. It expanded immediately & I did not notice any smell at all. Left it open for 24 hrs. Sleeping on the mattress was much better than the foam 1inch egg crate that was added to the original sofa. My relative that slept on the gel mattress rated it a 7 out of 10 for comfort. (Still felt the metal cross bar. But not as much as before the mattress ) She didn't experience any over heating. I closed up the sofa without any problem

Do Not Buy
Just opened my mattress topper (after the 30 day return) to get ready to let it form before I go back to college. The topper is completely misshapen on the edges and has three huge brown stains on it. So disappointed and wish I had gotten it out sooner so I could have returned it.
