Your last, best option
I have listened to XM radio in home for at least 12 years. I had a regular indoor antenna that pulled in a great signal, until late June 2019 when the radio began cutting out. I called XM to ask if there was a signal issue, they told me no, that it was most likely my radio. after buying a new radio and antenna, I had the same exact issue. I called XM many times to ask about signal strength, but was told each time there was nothing wrong. I then tried an auto antenna outside of my house, which was a little better , but still had cut outs listening to the audio. As a last resort I bought this antenna. It is roof mounted with about a 70 foot coax cable run to the radio. After first installing it, I got a much better signal, but the audio would still cut out every few minutes. I called XM again, they said no signal problem. I began to rotate the antenna in 1/4 inch increments on its mounting pole, pointed at the southern sky. I also rotated the head of the antenna up at about a 60 degree angle, kind of like you see with the Dish TV circular antennas. After days of making small adjustments i was finally able to get a consistent signal. If XM was this much trouble when i first joined, i would have let the service lapse. this is your last best chance to get an "over the air"signal. Something did change with the XM signal, at least in my area as it is much more difficult to bring in than it used to be. Adapters are sold to convert a coax connection to your XM radio. Good Luck and happy listening.

Full bars on my receiver
Just what I need to get full bars on my receiver. I used my existing coaxial cable in my house. Since I was not using cable tv any longer it works prefect to use the existing lines, so I didn't have to run new lines. Includes in the kit the adapter which is about 18 inches long to go from your receiver external antenna to the coaxial cable. It has the female to coaxial, so you won't need an adapter to go from a male on your coaxial cable. I didn't use the mounting hardware but you can use the four mounting holes to screw on to the side of the house or pole mount with the hardware that's included. I mount next to an existing area outside where cable used to come into the house. Took about 10 minutes. Perfect signal now.

She up there at 33 feet now
Love this little antenna, she was mounted 33 feet up on my wooden chimmney box with an ope sky view to a southwestern sky. Awesonme XM reception now. I hooked up RG6 cable directly to this antenna rather than use the jumper than came with it. You will need the RG6 /Sirius XM fitting (XI_XI RF Coaxial Adapter -Sirius XM Radio RG6 Coax Antenna Conversion Kit for RG59/RG6 Cable, XM Sirius Satellite Radio Kit) to enable the other end of the RG6 to snap into the Sirius receiver.

Cables and connectors count!
Why don't I like this? I didn't understand in the write up "The product works with RG-6 coaxial cable (sold separately)" that WITHOUT this cable there was no way to get the signal to the device. Include the frakin cable - how hard is that, the box is ENORMOUS - now I have to order the right cable, with the right connectors and waste more time. Can I change my score to 1 star? I'm changing my initial rating, sorry tp anybody who read this already. I now get why it didn't come with an RG-6 cable - everybody has different distances. I think it would be helpful to put the need for a cable in multiple places, I missed it and I'm usually pretty good at catching these details. Once I found a cable in the shop the antenna worked like a champ. Strong signal, so much better as compared to the old car top antenna I was using the squirrels started eating! Thank you and sorry for the 2 stars.

Great inexpensive solution to reception problems
I had a docking station for my Sirius radio in my woodshop. This had an external antenna, but the antenna wire limited where I could place my antenna. A tree had grown and blocked clear view of the sky. The signal would drift in and out - showing 0 strength on the tuning screen. Installation of the AudioVox SXHA1 antenna was easy, it allowed me to place the antenna in a preferred location. Signal strength is now maximized. Once again, I am enjoying my classic radio shows on Sirius. I did use RG 59 cable instead of RG6. I had this on hand and could cut and install fittings as necessary. RG59 is a little easier to work with and hide. Ran about 50 feet. RG 6 may be necessary only if the run is close to 100 feet.

The Only XM Outdoor Antenna to Buy
Fortunately years ago I purchased a LifeTime XM membership; the original antenna cracked with Minnesota weather; this noticed when re-decking this summer. This antenna is the same as the original so will give excellent performance for years ahead. Highly Recommended!

Crystal clear reception.
Very easy to install. HUGE PLUS is that it uses regular coaxial cable (like your cable or satellite TV) so you can mount it on to the outside of your home and just follow the cables in. Takes time to do it right, but you want it right, don't you? Construction of the unit worries me a little because it is somewhat flimsy, so keep in mind that it will be exposed to the elements. Replacement would be easy though, and the unit itself is inexpensive.

Best Rececption
Best Sirius antenna I've ever owned. It works when it's cloudy, raining, thunderstorms, name it. Reception does NOT go in & out. It just stays on, which is phenomenal.

Arrived quickly and installed easily. I couldn't get Sirius signal on my boombox antenna no matter where I put it in the house. With this outdoor antenna, I have no problem getting a strong and clear signal. I attached it to my satellite dish arm. Bear in mind that you will need to drill a hole through the wall of your house to install the cable. You will also need to order RG-6 satellite cable. I used a roll 35 feet long and did NOT need any signal booster for that length. The cable that comes with the antenna is not suitable for putting through your wall and is not very long.

Easy to install. Works great. I used about 60-75 ft. of coax cable(without amplifying) and got full strength readings. Solved my problem. I use this on my Boombox indoors and the supplied antenna outdoors.

I have this one on our cabin. Makes all the difference. Not as robust as a truckers' model, but great for stationary mounting. I use about 75 feet of 75 ohm cable with it and it works great.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Mounted this on a pole I had mounted high for satellite tv that is no longer used, connected my existing RG6 to the antenna and the conversion cable at the other end where my home dock is. Perfect reception, even terrestrial is being picked up and I'm at the edge of where that reaches in the GTA. This is a nice easy way to use existing cables to tidy up your install and not have antennas in your window. There are also splitters you can buy that combine siriusxm and cabletv/sat tv signals so the same lines can be shared. Must have!
