IKSA Drain Pump Motor 4681EA2001T Replacement Part for Washer LG

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY THIS PART!!! Bought in January, 2021, installed once it arrived and now it's 5 months later and it's stopped working. This part is junk.

Kudos on quick processing...Part arrived early! Pump was not quite the same as original (broken part in my washer) however with a small coping saw I was able to easily modify the new part (cut the access plastic) to fit the pump housing. Seems to be working fine.

Came on time bolted right up and now my washer is fixed. Great product.

Taking the machine apart was quite a chore; the actual "installation" of the part was quite easy. I installed it in my LG washer (after troubleshooting thru the LG website told me the drain pump motor needed to be replaced) and my washing machine worked great for ~3 weeks .... and then the exact thing happened. The machine made a strange noise when the drain pump/motor assembly was trying to drain the water, but the water wouldn't drain. I do NOT blame this on the replacement part, as I think there must be something wrong with my washer (purchased in 2012) that is causing the drain pump motor to fail. So, I just ordered a new washing machine.

Fits exactly as it should. Delivered lightening fast. What more could you want?

The pump arrived quickly, was not difficult to install and worked fine for about a year. But, now I have to order another pump and do the install again. The major issue with the install is the disassembly of the washer to install the replacement pump. It is not really difficult but reinstalling the retaining ring on rubber boot is a little tricky and takes a little effort and skill.

Was skeptical about buying a reconditioned part for W/D but it works just as well as the one that was replaced. Saved a few bucks and not fretting about malfunctions or leaks anymore.
