They are very chic! I've used them for pasta, but also for rice dishes and even buddha bowls! They are very elegant, but not too fancy. So they are appropriate for everyday use.

Confession, our house hold is in a Sage/drab olive phase of its existence. Not of everything mind you, but for some reason as I was looking in my cubbard, I realized that all our plates and bowls are of the sage persuasion. Perhaps this particular hue compliments the palette of our food pretty good, as our usual fare consists of Kimchee, Brown rice, Chia seeds and some sort of Kogi. This particular bowl however, with its asymmetrical shape and just fired from an intermediate pottery class chic stands out. Honestly, not practical for eating a bowl of cereal while watching TV on the couch. But for putting salads or trying to food style your food, looks great. Whether its a spring salad or a banana split, the bowls look great when contrasted with whatever meal you are eating.

These are so handy. Deep enough to not spill but flat bottomed so they work more like a plate than a soup bowl. These are the most useful and heavily used dishes in our house.

Product is Great. The SHIPPING was the problem. Dishes were broken and mashed into pieces.
