shoulder straps, they will not stay on my shoulder wearing coats or jacktes like shiny materials like down coats or nylon ones what to do help ?

How well would this work on a leather purse? Would it damage the leather straps?

Works great I have a SAK purse with leather handle does not damage and does not come off!! Does not fall off my shoulder now!!

I have a sling bag and the bag keeps sliding down my back. Would this work to help keep the strap in place so the bag stays in place?

I am not sure if this would work with a sling bag. I use it on regular flat shoulder straps. They do help. They are not perfect but I am glad I have them as my straps do not constantly fall off my shoulder.
