Great product put it on my 1911 works fine does not come off. I tried pulling it off to test the strength but it will not come off. Make sure you clean the area where you'll place The adhesive to avoid any dirt or bubbles getting trapped under the adhesive.

The adhesive that is used on this gun clip is excellent. It has tremendous grip while still allowing you to remove and adjust it. They also give you a good many of the adhesive strips just in case you need to move it or use it on another pistol. I normally carry a S&W 40cal. while elk hunting deep in the Colorado public lands or Wilderness areas. The normal holsters tend to get in the way of my back pack waist band or other equipment that I carry. This clip allows me to place the gun safely on the pack waist band or just below it on my belt. That permits very quick access to the gun. One thing that I added to the set-up is a trigger guard. The rough, off trail hunting that I tend to do might put the trigger into a position wherein it could be touched by a branch or shrub, etc. This would be particularly problematic if I tripped or fell on the steep terrain in the Rockies with enough force to overcome the DA resistance of the trigger. With the gun carried outside and exposed, a good hard gripping, full-sized hard plastic trigger guard with a retaining strap is, in my view, mandatory. It is easy to set it up so that the trigger guard is slid off of the gun once it is pulled up about halfway to firing position.

Please save yourself the time, effort, $ and anger by not buying this product. Why? = When it arrived it was all rusted and the screws wouldn’t even go into the baseplate. Fortunately I still had an old Clipdraw baseplate and screws. I has to completely sand and repaint the clip to make it useable. The adhesive strips were absolute TRASH! As soon as they heated up from normal wear (not even firing) they pretty much melted. This allowed my small, lightweight self-protection tool to become unsecured and it slid right down where it didn’t belong at a rather inopportune time. I had to throw them away and order replacements from Clipdraw. They cost more, however, they stay where they’re supposed to… I didn’t send it back in for a refund because I didn’t want someone else to possibly receive the same unsafe junk they sent me. I’m honestly pretty frustrated with myself for trying to save a nominal amount even though my Clipdraw was great and lasted me several years and the same one was mounted on multiple “tools”. I hope my experience and the time I spent writing this saves you from making the same mistake I did. God bless & stay safe

I recieved this item approximately 7pm on a Friday. I attatched it to my FNS 40 imediately. Saturday morning I woke up and hit the range. While reloading after the 1st magazine, I noticed it was gone. So, after a little modification, it is now attatched via the rail under the barrel rather than the adhesion strips provided. If this option was available to begin with, I would have rated this 5 stars. The ONLY reason I didn't rate 5 stars is due to the poor adhesion.

The item itself is great and works perfectly. The adhesive strip that comes with it is too spongy allowing the clip to move around. A better quality/more firm adhesive strip would certainly make it five star.

Love it! Works just as intended. Very low profile and fits perfectly inside my holster or waistband.

This clip is great. They give you six strips of high quality double sided tape. I affixed it to the long bottom of the clip and again to the item and clamped it down overnight. You can position the clip wherever you want and I positioned mine at a perfect spot so I can basically draw the sucker out at a moments notice. Faster draw than any holster. Very convenient right in front pocket and the clip keeps it from going down in your pocket. Any shirt that hangs below your pocket conceals it. Highly recommended!

Been using these on several pieces for many, many years. Have never had one come loose.
