The Infinity Basslink is 200-Watt Powered Subwoofer System. It uses a 200 Watt Class D amplifier and two 10-inch subwoofers. One of the subwoofers is active and the other is a passive radiator. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it hit?**
A: Depends on how you define a "hit" I guess. I don't listen to much rap or bass-masters type of music, but I do listen to progressive hard rock and heavy metal along with pop and top 40. The new Queensryche has some excellent lows as do a couple Ozzy tunes. "Rain" by Madonna is what took out my other sub that I'd had for years as it's just a steady rumble, that's the type of stuff I like. I have 2 12"s in my wrangler with 500watt bridged amp and they aren't nearly as tight and clean sounding and I probably spent 3x the money on them.

**Q: Would it still sound good if put in a trunk or would i want something more powerful?**
A: for a trunk you need more powerful,for an open cabin its fine. its a great clean sub, it will never allow itself to distort , for a bass boost use this, if you need earth shaking, move on, however, for me this is swimmingly great

**Q: What are the actual demisions of this unit?**
A: According to the Infinity BassLink Owner's Manual - 14-1/2" x 12-1/2" x 8-1/2" (369mm x 318mm x 216mm)

**Q: What size amp wire are you using? Thanks!**
A: 10 ga. is enough for the sub with the length of run I'm doing, but I have REAL 8ga copper (not CCA-Copper Clad Aluminum) cable running from the battery to a distro block under the passenger seat, then splitting 8 ga. to the Alpine amp and this powered unit. Same with the ground. Beware of that crap cable you see selling cheap here, eBay, etc...
