Great product
Used in a private club for those members who NEVER remember to turn the thermostat back down.

Check inside measurements.
These are good covers, but … the measurements are misleading. The outside is fine, but there is about a 1/2” edge on the inside. So the inside measurements, which should be smaller, but by a fraction (the wall thickness) is actually about 1” smaller top and bottom and 1” smaller on the sides. They are perfect for thermostats, durable.

It did the job
I actually bought this to cover some switches in my camper. I wish it had been a tad bit larger and a tad bit slimmer, but it was the closest I could find. I used gorilla glue to attach it to the wall.

Loved this. My friend with dementia was always touching her thermostat. And with this lock box. She couldn't anymore.. I loved it.. I'm gonna by one for my House, so the kids don't touch my thermostat and also buying to lock up car keys. Very easy to install, not an eye sore at all. Very durable.

Excellent thermostat cover
Excellent product. It is way better than anything I found at local hardware store. I like the includes backplate. It provides numerous mounting options with holes preposition from factory. It also serves as good insulator incase your wall doesn't have proper insulation. Price well and fast shipping with prime. Best part is my little one can't pulled the thermostat off the wall anymore.

no hardware included
It did not contain any screws or mounts for installation, but I could find some. It’s medium quality but a premium price. I should not have ordered online.

Used in RV
I used this to put over our RV stereo so my 4 year old could push all the buttons. Worked well!

SOMEONE WITH KEY WAS GAINING ENTRANCE
I purchased this to put on my ADT alarm/as someone wAs getting in here and turning it off. This stopped that.
