There are recent studies that show iota carrageenan is a safe and effective treatment for the common cold, significantly reducing symptoms when you begin using it right at the beginning of a cold, and also likely useful as a daily preventative during cold season.[...]I take about 1/8 tsp of the iota carrageenan and use it in my nasal rise (you can buy a "netti pot" or similar nasal rise pot from the drug store, and it will have directions for the amount of salt to add to make the appropriate saline solution).I'm not a physician and I have no credentials in the medical field, so please research this for yourself before using it. But I can tell you that I haven't had a cold since I started using it, and I've had no adverse reactions to it.
