The feedback from desertcart were prompt and offered me 2 options, to send it back or talk to Pyle direct. The problem is that I am in Australia and Pyle and desertcart are in the US and I can't talk to anyone locally. Review: Decent for the money... - Rack mount brackets are crap...used some slightly longer sheet metal screws and tapped holes bigger, now they are on the unit sturdy. Reception is poor even with strong stations, bought an antenna that cost almost as much as the tuner itself which mostly resolved the problem. The antenna connector...my gosh, what were they thinking, I bought a little 3 dollar adapter from desertcart to make it a screw on type...after I fixed all the engineering shortfalls it works great...they should have fixed it before they sold it. I didn't look for this when I ordered and this was more than a year ago. **Q: I am looking to add a radio to my stereo sytem (older style in cabinet)---can I connect this to my system and have the sound then go thru my speakers** A: If your stereo system has input jacks for tuner yes, absolutely **Q: Can I take off the rack mount tabs ?** A: It been awhile since I installed this at a restaurant where it sits on a shelf. I believe that the rack mount tabs came in a bag with the accessories. If you buy the 600 A Integrated Stereo Amplifier which you need to power the tuner. Does come with a remote that works with both units.
