Solid scope, very happy with it
I purchased this scope to mount on my Ruger Super Blackhawk (.44 mag), You never really know what sort of quality you're getting with cheap, Chinese-made scopes but I am pleasantly surprised. Good clear glass and the reticle is very visible. This is a fairly heavy, large scope for what I mounted it on, my Ruger is the 7.5 inch barrel model and I don't think the scope is in anyway oversized for it. It's actually very impressive looking and doesn't add too much additional weight to an admittedly already very heavy handgun. I absolutely recommend this scope if you are looking for an inexpensive but very capable scope.

Super Scope
I bought three for target shooting / hunting and they are super. Mounted them on a .22, .357 and .45 LC. Super fast delivery, super easy mounting, super easy adjustment, super sharp image and super fun shooting. I am tall, long armed and usually have trouble with pistol scopes but these work great and hold true after hours of pounding with heavy loads. Will probably buy two more in the next couple of months as these are proving to be very high quality scopes for a very good price. Great job Hammers, keep up the good work.

Update: Great customer service: 308 & 7.62x39.
Update: 07/26/24 I forgot to say vender replaced the first scope in 2019 even though it was past the Amazon 30 day timeline. Second scope is great and still working good after 6 years. Holds zero and durable. Great customer service. UPDATE: 1/10/18 This scope beats one vortex crossfire that I returned. Just didn't seem right for me. Went to the range today. Easy zero. Clear glass. Reticle was easy to see. Not overbearing. It was raining and after about 10 rounds had it zeroed at 75 (that's good for me). Good product and great service. Guy at the range thought it was Leopold at first. Well sad to say after about 200 rounds looks like a lens or someting inside has gone out of wack. When I fire the rifle (308) (7.62x39) next time I sight in everything looks crossways (it's the only way I can describe it). Then if I shake the scope around some I can see the sight picture again. I don't know much about optics (mostly been an iron sights guy) so I'd only be guessing; but seems like a lens inside falls out of position than back in? Too bad. I have really enjoyeed the scope in all other respects. I'll get with the vendor; they've bee real great when I contacted them before. But, I imagine it's out of warranty after all this time caus I've had it awhile.Just connected with the vendor about a question. Great, quick response.

This is a scout scope, not a pistol scope!
The eye relief on this scope is way too short to be a pistol scope.(unless you have a short reach). This is advertised as having an 11 to 17 inch relief. It does not have that much relief and the manufacturers documents in the box states "the eye relief on this scope should be 9 3/4 inch to 11inch depending on zoom power." On 2 power the sight picture is fine at full hold; on 5 power the sight picture diminishes, comes to full view when you draw back to about 11 inches(what the manufacturer suggests); at 7 power the sight picture is almost impossible to achieve unless...low and behold...the gun is held back at an eye relief of about 11 inches or less. It is not practical as a pistol scope. This is going back in the box and being returned. It looks like it should hold up as a scout scope but I purchased this on its eye relief advertisement of 11-17 inches and reading some reviews. Unfortunately, I've found, there are a few reviews I missed because others have noted this same issue as well.

I am not disappointed. its a very nice long eye relief scope ...
I had not heard of hammers before and took a chance on it. I am not disappointed. its a very nice long eye relief scope I have it on a ruger charger and it works very well. dialed in easily and the lens is nice and clear. it also came with a nice looking set of rings. satisfied100% excellent buy for the money.

Aside from that it's a good scope.
I would have given it more stars but one of the adjustment screws is off center and I have to use a tool to turn it instead of my finger. I bought it in the winter and didn't get to try it out until spring so time add expired for me to return it to Amazon and I got no response from the company I got it from. Hope I don't forget my pliers when I go to the range. Aside from that it's a good scope.

great scope for the money
i just bought this scope for my mosin nagant. and i have to say, i love it! its simple and looks great. the eye relief is very good, i have mine about 13 inches away and i still see everything clear. I cant wait to take it out and sight it in. look no further than this scope. only $50 with shipping. beats spending 3x that much on another scope. so happy with the buy. GET IT!!!

Not bad for the money, but casual quality
Had this on two rifles, .308 and 7.62x39. Can hold zero after a fashion. Gripes are paint or debris chips in the optics occasionally sticking to insides of lenses, and the turret caps threads almost being stripped out no matter how carefully screwed on after adjustments.
