Noisy but awesome, will remove hair no question, personally I enjoy using this, and I find it therapeutic (Am I really the only one?). It has also reduced how fast hair grows back and has definitely made it easier to manage. I am told I am psychotic. Head lasted 2 years before needing replacement with almost daily or 3 times a week use, cannot recommend this more, much better than battery based ones that will need replacing much sooner. Only downside so far is that the heads cost as much as the device. According to my partner this is an intense and scary way to start epilating.

Pro: It's quick, very effective, easy to use, cheap, has a long cable so you're not hanging about near a socket to use it. Has a high speed mode that is much less painful than normal. Con: It's still massively, agonisingly painful, but if you're thinking of buying an epilator then you probably already know that. It's very loud making a metallic screaming noise, but that's ok because your screams will drown it out while using it. Thoughts: If you're looking for a pain free way to be a hairless goddess...I'm sorry but this ain't it, BUT, if you can stomach the pain (i.e. you want to use any kind of epilator) you won't find a better device to pull out your hair from what feels like your nerve endings. I'm a trans girl and use this almost every night doing small patches for however long I can stomach it. It works, it's a brilliant device, but the second I can download my brain into a perfectly hairless machine body I'll be glad to say goodbye to these horrible machines. Until then, this is your best bet!

great item; came quickly (not really used to amazon’s quick shipping so it was surprising!) also works well, despite looking a little daunting 😅 the cable is about 2m long which is extremely useful, and the top bit comes off for easy cleaning. overall a great machine.

I read many reviews for this product before deciding to take the plunge. I've not got a particularly high pain threshold, so I consider myself quite brave about purchasing a device that effective rips your hair out at the root over large parts of your body. The product is quite small, easy to hold and before you turn it on, looks quite innocuous. When turning it on, it does transform into a very angry sounding device and with it's whirling rippy implements (akin to gnashing teeth), I did have to summon up the courage to put the device on my leg. The first patch of hairs to be ripped out did cause me to utter several expletives, but I persevered and was surprised how quickly my brain adjusted to the pain threshold. I also found that there are certain parts of your body that hurt more than others e.g. when you hit a more sensitive spot, you are more inclined to go over the area that you first thought really hurt, because in comparison it was a walk in the park. As mentioned by another reviewer, when the ripped out hair grows back, the next time you use the device, the regrowth is removed easier and doesn't feel quite as painful. I have so far been brave enough to do my lower legs several times and the hair is taking around 2 weeks to come through. However, I was surprised how much it hurt on my upper legs and thighs. I incorrectly thought it would hurt more on areas with thinner skin, but I was wrong, so I am having to limit the ripping on the tops of my legs to small patches over several days. I did have a few red blotches after using, but now my skin is adjusting to my new 'torture' regime, the skin is not looking so angry. I have also purchased a Philips IPL machine, so hoping that between ripping and zapping, I will be hair free on my legs within 6 months. It is a bit painful, you do have to go over the same area several times, but if you can tolerate the discomfort, in the long run it is better than shaving or waxing.

It removes even short hairs and keeps my skin smooth for about three weeks. The device is light, easy to hold, and I like that it’s always ready since it’s corded. However, the cord can be a bit inconvenient, and the first few uses are slightly painful until you get used to it. It’s best for legs, not for very sensitive areas.

I’m surprised how well this works, it takes a while but it’s still quicker than waxing and my legs are a lot smoother too, I found it a bit more painful than wax but very satisfying seeing it work. I thought I’d try this epilator first because it was a lot cheaper than a lot of the others but it works great so I’ll just stick to this one until it dies.

Very disappointed. I have used epilators for years on my underarms and legs, and this is not a good one. On my underarms, it snapped so many hairs (instead of pulling them out) and left me with razer rash, which I didn't even know was possible with an epilator. The travel size is also let down by a chunky plug instead of a USB or C cable.

Erfahrungen aus dem Alltag: Der Epilierer liegt gut in der Hand und ist sofort einsatzbereit (Stecker rein, los geht’s – ganz ohne „Akku leer“-Überraschungen). Zwei Geschwindigkeitsstufen sind vorhanden, was besonders am Anfang hilfreich ist. Für Beine und Arme funktioniert die Haarentfernung zuverlässig, die Haut bleibt danach mehrere Wochen glatt. Zum Thema Schmerz: Ganz ehrlich: Es ist ein Epilierer, kein Wellnessgerät. Die ersten Anwendungen sind spürbar, aber mit regelmäßiger Nutzung wird es deutlich erträglicher. Ich würde sagen: eher „kurzes Zusammenzucken“ als „dramatisches Leiden“. Praktisch: Der abnehmbare Epilierkopf lässt sich einfach unter Wasser reinigen, was hygienisch und unkompliziert ist. Das Gerät wirkt insgesamt solide verarbeitet und erfüllt seinen Zweck ohne Spielereien. Was man wissen sollte: - Kabelgebunden → weniger Bewegungsfreiheit, dafür konstante Leistung - Nicht besonders leise - Für sehr empfindliche Zonen eher nur eingeschränkt geeignet Fazit: Ein ehrlicher, bodenständiger Epilierer, der tut, was er soll – Haare entfernen. Kein Luxus, aber ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ideal für Einsteiger oder alle, die ein zuverlässiges Gerät ohne Extras suchen.
