Purchased these to replaced worn out batteries in cordless phone
I refuse to buy cordless phones that have a battery pack since it becomes difficult as time passes to find the exact battery pack and the connector needed to replace old phone batteries. Panasonic offers phones that take rechargeable batteries in standard AAA. I've had the same Panasonic cordless phone for 10 years now and replaced the batteries in some handsets only once. These batteries have proved reliable over time. They get considerable life before not holding charge. They can be purchased in various size packages to fit your need as well as be more cost effective for larger orders. I will definitely continue to purchase these batteries as long as they are available.

An exact replacement, and easy fix, for my Panasonic KX-TGA101B house phones.
An exact replacement, and easy fix, for my Panasonic KX-TGA101B house phones. Two of my handsets started had been giving me problems for a long time. It started with them not charging properly; at first they took a very long time to charge, then would not charge completely, and final wouldn't turn on anymore. These new batteries charged quickly, and now my house phones work, and hold a charge for a long time again! If these are the batteries you need, I'd recommend them. I'm sure I'll get another couple pairs for my other phones, lol.

Not a good first Impression...Questionable reliability at best...
Received the batteries on time. The batteries fit the Panasonic KX-TGFA30 just fine. My original rating was a 2, but Amazon did satisfactorily take care of the issue, read on.The reason for a 3 star rather than 5 stars now, is that two of the batteries did not accept a charge when placed on the phone from the start (followed directions to initially charge for 24 hours). The phone NEVER showed it was charging, instead, it stated to "insert batteries" go figure. However, a day later I placed the other 2 and they did accept the charge. I will have to see how 'long' they will "hold" that charge and will further report. The rating will be updated based on the ability of these batteries to hold the charge; the originals held a charge for a week out of the charging base. We shall see. As I have read here that these 'seem' not to hold the charge as the original Green colored Panasonic AAA NiMH batteries [BK-40AAABU 1.2V min 400 mAh that came with the phone. I will update this review in a month. Reliability is questioned.UPDATED 11/28/2017 4 starsHappy to report that the two working batteries are accepting and retaining the charge. Still, due to 2 batteries not working at all, I can only give 4 stars.

Are these batteries 'new'? It COULD be my phone(s)...but these batteries were the right ones for my handsets
This is my THIRD set of replacement rechargeable batteries for my home phones. I have always liked the Panasonic cordless phones, and I have three sets, my house is larger and out of convenience I had extra handsets, or retired a set to a room I did not use as much and upgraded my main phone. My husband also uses Panasonic phones for his office phone line. When the set my husband used for his office started 'beeping' and not charging, I bought some rechargeable batteries at the store. Didn't think it would matter. Instead of 'beeping' and not charging, my phone would then beep and make a sound like it was dialing a number, and do this repeatedly. So I bought the Panasonic brand that matched the ones that were in that phone. Didn't work. Not long after that, my not-nearly-as-old main phone set also started beeping. I first did try the rechargeable batteries I bought at the store, just in case. They weren't cheap and that set of phones was quite a few years newer. I thought it might work. It did not. So I finally found these and ordered them.Initially, I thought that was the key. Both phones were completely dead, and required charging for '7 hours'. So I set them up to do so. The next day, one appeared to be working, the other did not. I thought that was great. At least one works, that's a start.Well, I was again disappointed. I can move the back and forth from the main base to the 'satellite' base, and sometimes the handset will seem to charge on one or the other, at least briefly. They've yet to show they've fully charged on either base. Now my main base handset is starting to go through the 'beeping', and 'dialing' process. They've never charged beyond 2 bars. If these batteries are new, they do not work in my phones either and they are the exact match to the original batteries my phone came with. I've had three Panasonic phones now, and each time the 'rechargeable' batteries stop working, the phone itself seems to be useless. I thought when I got these batteries I had solved the problem. The phones seemed to 'like' these batteries immediately, then it was back to the usual issue, and one of the handsets did not ever charge that first day. I have moved it to the other base and it doesn't matter. I know the phones seemed to be 'happy' with these batteries when I first put them in, but that did not last even overnight. I'm now considering backing over the phones with our truck, just because. This should be such a simple fix, instead it's become an unnecessary challenge like almost all electronic devices today have become . What good is it to have 'rechargeable' batteries, if the phones themselves do not want to ever work again once the 'original' batteries are dead? I've tried multiple options. Yes...I did try to 're-register' the handsets with the base unit just in case. I couldn't get one of the handsets to charge up enough to even attempt 're-registering' it with the base unit. I can't say that it's the batteries for CERTAIN or the phones themselves, but my phones absolutely appeared to be working when I initially put these batteries in, but they never did even charge fully on either base.
