Used this for my 2 year old while getting around the airport. Very lightweight but large enough. I was able to fit lots of snacks, a small paperback book and her water bottle in it with ease. Leash is long enough for her to feel independent but short enough that no one tripped over it. She's 3ft tall and this was the right size for her on the smallest setting. Only downside with these backpacks are that the front buckle is very easy for her to undo so she could get it off any time she liked. Good when she wants access to her stuff but bad when you need her to be wearing the bag in order to walk safely in a busy place.

I bought this backpack for my 4 year old granddaughter and she LOVES it. She takes it everywhere that she goes. I would definitely buy this brand again.

My youngest is a runner, and when I broke my ankle this was a LIFE SAVER, like it saved her life because she couldn't run away from me into traffic. We have tried a few backpack leashes and this one by far fits her the best. it holds her diapers, wipes and an extra outfit for our adventures. And we have gotten many compliments on the cuteness of the backpack. *only thing is I got a bungee leash to trade out the fabric leash.

This was great to keep track of my little one at the zoo. The only suggestion I have is adding a second chest clip at the bottom instead of just at the top. It created an effect that kind of lifted him up instead of just gently pulling him backwards. Twice he sort of spiraled downward hands/face first. If the leash clip was in the middle of the back instead of the bottom of the bag, that might have also helped the issue. Otherwise, still worked and allowed us to feel safer in a large crowd with our feral child. Very roomy for snack/drink/change of clothes/diaper.

Got this for my Punk, she's 2 and much faster than me. Her parental units and I haven't used the 'leash' yet, but we have used it simply as a back pack for her for places like the park. It's the perfect size for a clean diaper, some wipes, and a snack - I've even stuffed a change of clothes in there. Punk has no problems carrying it herself and it's stinking cute to boot.
