Maybelline Eyestudio Master Precise All Day Liquid Eyeliner Makeup, Black, 0.034 fl. oz.

I have worn eyeliner for about 50 years, and each type of eyeliner brings slightly different results. My two preferred eyeliners are a soft Kohl pencil, and the liquid liners.Personally, I prefer this liquid felt tip applicator rather than a brush because sometimes a brush has bristles that bend a little out of shape and mess up my eyeliner lines. This Maybelline soft felt tip delivers precise thinner lines, without any skipping or cracking. Furthermore, it’s easy to apply right along my lashes without having a gaping space that some brushes and eyeliner pencils sometimes allow. When the pencil eyeliner leaves an empty space, I have to rub the pencil lead repeatedly across my eyelid, which tends to loosen my lashes, and then a lash or two falls out.This liquid eyeliner is matte black color and the felt tip delivers precise thin lines, there is no skipping, and no cracking either. If I want a thicker line, I just reapply above the original line and since this has a fine tip, it’s easy to apply and it glides on smoothly right along my lashes and without a space between my lashes and the bottom part of my eyelid.I love that this eyeliner is fast drying, and it does last most of the day. Occasionally, for one reason or another, I will inadvertently rub my eyes, and when I rub them the eyeliner made fade a bit, but it never smears which would result in the ugly ‘raccoon eyes’.Although this eyeliner is not ‘water-proof’, I consider it to be ‘water-resistant’, if I’m accidently splashed, or if I sneeze and my eyes start to water, a gentle dab to dry my eyes will leave the liner intact, and it does NOT smear or run into my eyes. Furthermore, I have never experienced any ‘eye sting’ the way I have received with other liquid liners. In addition, this is one of the easiest eyeliners to wash off and I don’t have to rub hard to remove it.Another advantage is that this eyeliner is ‘free-flowing’. Therefore, I never need to shake the bottle, to get the liquid on the applicator.The only application that I cannot receive is the ‘smudgy’ evening look; however, if I apply my soft Kohl pencil over the eyeliner I will get that desired appearance.

I bought this product for my sister, who has a very difficult time applying eyeliner. She has a very unsteady hand and this weird twitchy-eyed technique when it comes to applying liner. We watch a ton of youtube beauty tutorials and she likes to read blogs, and she thought that this sort of felt tip pen would be best for her.It definitely was. She still tried to do her weird technique, but this time she was much more successful than she's ever been. It's very easy to get a nice fine line with this product and also have it come out straight. You can also lay the pen tip horizontally across the eye and lightly dab to get the product as close to the lash line as possible.The pen seems to be fairly sizable and I assume that the product will last quite a while but not too long. My sister and I frequently forget to throw out old makeup and having the perfect amount of product is important. This is definitely enough to make it a good deal without being so much that you'll have to throw it out before the pen is done.The formula is great. I've had eyeliners in the past that will skip or bead up along the line I had just drawn, but this covers everything in one perfect even coat. As with any other liner, this can and will smudge if you touch it, but I've noticed significantly less smudging with this product than many of the others I've tried. Even my sister, who touches her eyes all the time, was able to keep this on for a full day with no major disasters.Overall I think it's great. Especially for a beginner like my sister. If you're new to the game or just can't seem to figure out how to make a nice cat eye, then this is probably the product for you.

The only makeup that I wear is eye makeup. Normally I use the gel-pot eyeliner with a brush, but wanted to try those fancy wings and purchased this and the e.l.f. liquid liner. They both have pros and cons, but I find myself using this one more than the e.l.f., since I find that the "marker" type tip of this one is a little easier to control than the tiny brush type.The tip of this liner is not a brush that's made of hairs and goes to a point, but more like a large felt-tip that is pointy, but also soft and flexible. If you've ever used a Tombow dual brush, it's like the thick end of one of those. It's flexible enough to get a wide-ish line across the lid with some pressure (but not so much that you end up jabbing your eye out) and less pressure gets you a nice fine line. I'm pretty artistic, and good with tiny brushes on flat surfaces and objects, but for some reason just can't control a tiny brush when it's being used on my face. This is MUCH better.The liner is waterproof, and dries almost instantly, which is both good and bad. It won't get all over my upper lid if I open my eye too soon, and doesn't run during the day and give raccoon eyes even if I don't use primer. However, since it dries right away and is waterproof, it's a little trickier to fix mistakes than something like the e.l.f. is, which will stay wet for a few seconds and can be wiped away easily. A Q-tip with some remover or the e.l.f. remover pen works great for the fixes though.My biggest qualm with this liner pen, is that since it functions like a marker, the tip tends to dry out if it's stored upright. I keep it in a carousel, normally upside-down, but if I accidentally drop it in right-side-up it will be dry and not apply evenly next time unless I give it a few good shakes first. It's not the end of the world, but just something to keep in mind since it can be a little aggravating.[...] Your input helps me to write quality, informative reviews :)

So far this is the best liquid eyeliner I've come across next to Milani's infinite liquid eyeliner. (It truly stays put!) This pen has a much nicer soft, straight, felt tip! It's so easy to make the perfect line and lasts all day. I can't draw a straight, perfect line very well so I've found that turning this pen at an angle and lightly pressing the tip even along the top of lash line gives me a perfect thin line. Then I can go back over it if I want it thicker or darker. Also it dries fast so I don't have to wait more then a few seconds before opening my eye. I do have somewhat hooded eyes and this pen works great for me and lasts all day. I also have oily lids but I use a eyeshadow primer by Shany. I've bought 4 of these pens and 1 seems to lasts me about 4+ months! I've never had any problems with the lid coming off on its own like I do with L'oreal's infallible the super slim liquid eyeliner. It's lid falls off and won't click on like this eyeliner. I do recommend this liquid eyeliner!

My new favorite eyeliner! My old ones kept smearing so much and by the end of the day its gone. So I searched for a new one. Found this one, read the reviews which prompted me to finally buy it.I tried this on a few days ago for the first time. Made cute doll eye look with a slight flare at the end. I spent the day outside in 80 degree weather helping my boyfriend change my car oil (by help I mean stand around and watch while I also played taylor swift on my phone to dance to). Then we went out for dinner and a movie. Before the movie started I went to the bathroom. When I looked into the mirror I was shocked. My eyeliner design was still there! It looked as if I had just put it on or retouched it. There was a slight smudge on the corner but it didn't bother me. I just dabbed it away and I looked perfect! Stayed on all day even when I was sweaty and grimy. I came out of the bathroom and told my bf "Why didn't you tell me that i looked gorgeous as hec! And that my eyeliner is still there!"Will I buy this again? Hec yea! Throwing out my old ones.

I read so many wonderful reviews about this product, so I thought I would give it a try instead of spending 20 or more dollars on the brand that I typically purchase. I was disappointed after the first wear, but thought I'd give it a few more days to see if things got better. Still disappointed. The color is a deep black, which is very nice, however, within hours it starts to run and smear around my eyes. It does not have good staying power. I had to clean the smudges and reapply multiple times within one 9 hour work day. The applicator is also not as precise as I am used to from other brands. The tip seems to catch or snag as I draw on my eyeliner. It doesn't "glide". I really wanted this product to be better, however, I was not impressed. I ended up buying the high end "tattoo" liner brand that I always used in the past because this product did not work well for me.

I've tried a lot of different liquid eyeliners and this one is by far my favorite! I really only like the kind with a felt tip because the paint brush style tips are impossible for me to use. I am a huge fan of Maybelline and use a lot of their other products so I thought I would try this and I'm so glad I did. I was previously using another brand that was a similar type of pen but I always had to go back over and over my liner to try to get it to look right, but with this one, one try and I'm good to go. I find that it actually saves me time because it's just easy to use and allows me to draw the perfect shape wing everytime! And I am not good at drawing those things so take my word for it haha! I also feel like this pen lasted a lot longer than my other one, maybe because it's easier to apply. I also am a contact lense wearer and I find that it doesn't irritate my eyes or my incredibly sensitive skin.I would definitely recommend this eyeliner 10/10.

I bought this after reading the great reviews. I just purchased it and received mine a couple of days ago. This eyeliner applies very nicely and the color is great! But after I came home from a date with my husband, I looked in the mirror and was dismayed. I had panda eyes! It smudged and was all over under my eyes. I can see how it is awesome for someone with dry skin around their eyes or who uses some sort of primer or foundation (I don't). While this eyeliner really applies well and removes easily, it was not a good fit for me. I guess I must have oily eyelids. So far, I have problems with almost all eyeliners even if they say smudge free. The only ones that work so far is the waterproof liquid eyeliner made by MAC (they stop carrying the dark brown) and the waterproof eyeliner (felt tip) from Stila - but it is really light in color (brown) and seems to be drying out within 2 weeks. I recently bought a cheap brand from Silvercell and it didn't smear at all, but it cracks and disappears after a few hours. Still, I prefer that over panda eyes.Update: I purchased eye shadow primer (NYX) to use under this eyeliner because I really like the application. It remained smudge free for a couple of hours but by the time I checked it again later in the day, Panda Eyes! So bummed :-( Took a shower and washed my face and eye area with light soap. Came out and still had the black smudge look under my eyes. Had to use make up remover to take it off.

I don’t know what some people are talking about when they say this liner isn’t black enough. How black do you want it to be?!I have had other liners that’s dried more gray then black, and this one is definitely not like that at all! It’s a true black and stays that way.I have sensitive dry skin, so I don’t have an issue with staying power or smudging, unless I physically try to rub my eyes. It lasts all day and looks great.So far so good. I’m not sure how long it will last but I really like it and would reccomend it.I like that the design is thin too as it fits into my everyday clutch without taking up space with an awkward bottle shape.

No tiene como otros delineadores la bolita de metal que mantiene el pigmento sin secar, lo cual me hace pensar que no durará tanto. Lo he usado durante un mes, sin parar. La saturación del pigmento sigue excelente. NO es a prueba de agua, NO es de larga duración. NO se transfiere y tengo parpados grasos. Usaba un delineador de Kat Von D que cuesta 4 veces el precio de éste, sin duda, preferiría comprar 4 de estos.
