Nearly Natural Cherry Blossom Bonsai Silk Tree, Pink

Although I enjoy plants and flowers, I'm one of those people, unfortunately, who can kill air ferns. Artificial plants are a nice alternative for me - as long as they're reasonably lifelike - and when I found this artificial bonsai cherry blossom tree on my Wish List, I was immediately intrigued because, aside from the beautiful look of it in the photograph, it reminded me of my childhood spent in Japan. But after ordering I had serious second thoughts, concerned that it would appear terribly cheap and fake. It arrived and, with these concerns in full force, I opened the package. And boy was I surprised and delighted! It's plastic, absolutely, and not silk as the heading states, but I have to say, even on close inspection, it is an incredibly beautiful piece of work and well worth the money. Every time I look at it, it transports me back to the small village in which we lived, just outside the main gate of Yakota AFB, and the annual Cherry Blossom Festival as it was held there: on a tree-lined hill under a night sky, colored lanterns everywhere and fireworks bursting overhead. The smells of fish cooking. Noodle carts. Women in bright kimonos. Water balloons tossed by children. Japanese music. So, there is certainly a personal bias for me that adds to my enjoyment of this piece, but I think anyone would be as happy to own this as I am because it really is simply beautiful.

Got this and a couple other trees as a present for my mom.Because she can't take care of living plants. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who can't take care of plants, because thus is beautiful and you can't kill it.

Definitely not worth $55, plastic with black plastic ground and roots. I love faux bonsai for indoors but I’ve seen better. Fact is, bonsai belong outside, it’s a tree. So it’s too bad that there aren’t better options for faux bonsai as indoor plants UPDATE: However, for a few extra dollars for some moss or pebbles and a little time, you can turn this into a beautiful bonsai worth displaying (no glue)

Love this bonsai. Little bit of Styrofoam exposure in base, likely shipping roughness. Think I may put some green moss around base of tree. Nice size, seems realistic. Very happy.

Please listen to the real reviews and don't trust the manufacturer description. The item description reads "Cherry Blossom Bonsai Silk Tree By Nearly Natural" and "Silk arrangements are manufactured using synthetic materials and are well designed and constructed to be life-like in appearance." FALSE. These blossoms are plastic molds, NOT silk. Also, many other users describe how the plant is wrapped very poorly. The bubble wrap they used was extremely thin and did nothing to protect the pot. The branches were not even wrapped, which means the plant arrived in pieces. Bottom line, the descriptions on this product are untrue and the product itself is poor quality. I am very frustrated knowing that I was tricked by false reviews and false information about the product. Please, read all the reviews before making your final decision. I was expecting s quality tree made of silk for the list price of $50. Now that I received and can see this tree is simply plastic and broken, $50 just down the drain. Terrible.

I bought this just to add a little more color in my office, so it's in a spot that doesn't get a lot of light, and it is on the far end, so at first glance it looks fairly realistic, just not as much up close. Regardless, for the price, the quality is very good. There was a little over spray from what I assume was brown paint that is used on the roots and dirt, but other than that it was in decent shape when it arrived. Again it is not that much of a great item when you look at it up close, but if you're going to put it in a place where it will not be moved around a lot, it brings a subtle amount of color along with it. The look isn't for everyone, but I like it.

It's pretty... from a distance. The plastic for the trunk and branches is very low quality. It's not sturdy at all. The branches snap on and snap off. Mine came with one of the branches off entirely because it had split. They don't even do a good job of covering the lines at where the branches meet the trunk. But most importantly, the synthetic "silk" is just straight up plastic. There's nothing silk-like about it. I got mine "half off" at $50. I'm returning it because this thing would fit the $15-$20 range. $50 at "half off" is a joke. I gave it a second star because it is a good size and looks nice from far away.

I’m absolutely in love with this artificial bonsai. I think it looks amazingly beautiful. I added moss rocks and a ceramic pot to complete it.

Muy bonito, parece real. Lo recomiendo al 100% para decorar cualquier espacio. Apto para oficina, recámara, sala, cualquier espacio pequeño, etc.
