This really makes the best homemade coffee. Just to help you all out with knowing how much coffee to put in: fill the pot up to the top line and add 5 tablespoons of coffee and it’s perfect every time!! I love this coffeemaker because I don’t make coffee for others, I just made it for myself! Honestly, this IS the perfect size pot for a perfectly brewed cup of coffee that’s done quick and effortlessly👌

Makes a good cup of coffee. Not 4 cups, just one good mug full. Very happy with this basically single serve pot. Good, hot and fast.

This pot has always beaten any coffee pot .Hot coffee every time.No grounds in cup and the aroma is a tease to the 1st sip. Beats Keurig and nespresso .It is also quick.

This is a wonderful percolator! Quickly brews hot, delicious coffee. Brews in about 5 1/2 minutes. Bad news - it will only last about 2 years. Heating unit fails. Buy the warranty! Worth it. We are on our 4th unit. We have an original unit that was made in Brooklyn! Was still working when we retired it. These are very nice units - just expect to replace every 2-3 years when heating unit fails. It will fail.

This is a perfect little pot for one or two people. I ground my beans and it took less than 5 mins to percolate and defaulted to a warm setting automatically. Reasonably priced and quality construction. Perfect!

i bought this july 2023. this review is march 2024. this item makes TRASH COFFEE *but* it is only a slightly high price for a pitcher to make excellent pour-over coffee if you prefer steel over glass (which i do) and more than a single cup at a time. this is my first percolator. i was coming off trader joe's instant coffee since working from home in our covid-endemic era. at my office, i drank the peet's brewed in the kitchen. instant tj is an ok approximation to peet's brewed cos at least it is wayyyy better than folger's. at first this percolator coffee tasted fine (amazon, starbucks, peet's, dunkin) cos it tasted like tj instant and i'd already adjusted myself down to that flavor/quality. issue 1: after a while, i wanted afternoon coffee so i made a pour-over cup and discovered what incredible trash coffee this percolator makes. same grinds had AMAZING flavor as pour-over but were only a moderately acceptable instant-like flavor from the percolator. SAME GRINDS. issue 2: the bottom has straight slits (same as the spreader/basket lid) instead of holes and they became clogged so i ordered filters which caused the coffee to come out GOLDEN. since i can't see the percolator operate, i speculate that the water either (1) never enters the basket and instead flows out the wide gap along the rim of the spreader, OR (2) enters the basket but passes over the folded filter top (which filter has holes at the four corners to specifically fold over the straw) and exits through the slits along the top side of the basket (never actually reaching the bottom of the basket). CONFIRMATION: today i poured the percolator's golden water into an electric kettle, let the percolator cool to remove its lid, boiled the golden water, and poured it over the spreader myself. i made sure the water never exited the wide gap along the rim of the spreader (speculation #1). COFFEE STILL GOLDEN. i didn't observe whether the water flowed through the slits along the top side of the basket (speculation #2) but i was super mad so didn't even try to use the spreader again. instead, i again poured the percolator's golden water into my electric kettle, boiled the golden water, and unfolded the top of the filter -- and poured the boiling golden water directly over the grinds (not over filter paper) -- and got AMAZING POUR-OVER COFFEE. this percolator makes (1) trash coffee without a filter, and (2) golden coffee with a filter. btw the filters are 'Melitta White Wrap Around Coffee Filter for Percolator' and i'm returning them cos they brew golden coffee. i will use this percolator as a pour-over pitcher. i will use my steel pour-over cone with its filters (no percolator basket, no percolator straw). conclusion THIS PERCOLATOR IS TRASH but a $60 pitcher if you prefer steel over glass (and more one pour-over cup) is pretty much as good as it gets cos i don't even see any others. oh well.

I absolutely love my Farberware Electric Coffee Percolator! I switched to a percolator specifically to remove plastics from my brewing process, and this stainless steel design has been the perfect healthier, cleaner option. It brews a rich, full-bodied cup every time, heats quickly, and keeps the coffee perfectly hot. The stainless steel basket is sturdy and easy to clean, and the classic percolator flavor is so much better than any drip machine I’ve used. If you want great coffee without the plastic parts, this percolator is a fantastic choice!

Hands down, makes the best cup of coffee I've had. I never used a percolator before I bought this one and it does have a slight learning curve (had to adjust my measurements - I use a bit more grounds than in a drip coffee maker). As the other reviews say, this does brew at a higher temperature than drip or a Keurig style coffee machine, which is great for me as I use a ton of creamer - it is still very hot after adding. I wish it had auto shut-off or even an "off" button, but so far I've remembered to unplug it after I'm done. It's easy to take apart and clean up once it's cooled down a bit. It takes up very little space on my counter (I mean it is tiny) so would be great for anyone lacking counter space. I get 2 big cups of coffee plus a bit more out of it. The stainless steel is very sleek and shiny. As long as it's plugged in, your coffee will stay hot although I do recommend unplugging no more than 30 minutes after you brew so your coffee doesn't get scorched. After it's unplugged coffee stays hot for at least an hour. I have noticed a speck or two of grounds does make its way into the pot but considering how delicious it brews that is no problem at all in my opinion. It cost less than my drip coffee machine did too. This was one of the best purchases I've made in a long time, highly recommend!

El producto es perfecto, tamaño, calidad, et cetera. La persona que lo entrego no tiene consciencia. Tiraron la caja encima del pared de 4 metros al patio. No tocaron el timbre, aunque hay noticia en la puerta "por favor, toque el timbre". Estuve en casa con puertas y ventanas abiertas. Me alegra que la decision tirar la caja no rompio la cosa a dentro.

Difficulty removing the lid of the pot. There was no on and off switch on product and no indication with a light telling you the product was on or off unless you went to the main switch. The product was more like tin than stainless steel and had a very weak plastic handle. The product came with an American electrical connection and not a British connection with plug. This was not in the advert of the product. The product would not work with a British electrical connection that we had to buy and so would not heat up the water in the percolator which looked more like a tin kettle. We have to pay postal costs to send this product back to America which was also not in the advert of the product. Altogether a terrible purchase and a waste of one's time.

This is a nice-looking little percolator, but I didn't know when I bought it that it comes from the US with an American plug. In order to use it in the UK, I would have to buy a transformer for nearly £100. In order to send it back and get a refund, I would have to pay the extortionate postage to America. I feel I've been comprehensively fooled. I'm angry. Don't buy from this seller.
