what is the actual cut out hole size for this sink?

actual cut-out in countertop for our overhang/under-mount installation is 10.5 inches by 15.5 inches. Agree that flush-mount installation probably would not look very good.

Is this sink bright white? If not, would it contrast too much next to a Kohler white toilet?

The sink is decidedly white. We have it in a small powder room with a Kohler toilet, pure white wood base and ceiling trim, and "snow" granite. The whites all go perfectly fine together.

Is there puddeling on the bottom near drain or does the water run smoothly down to drain, afraid it look very flat in picture and water will not drain

I can't say anything bad about this wonderful little sink! There is no puddling at all it drains perfectly. I installed a pop up drain from Amazon in it as well. The finish is perfect, the shape is very modern and I am very happy with it. Now that I ordered it I see it in remodels on TV and in photos all the time! It is perfect for a narrower space like my bathroom which had the original cabinet in it that was built in 1950. I had a new one built the same depth because that was all the space would allow and this sink looks fabulous dropped into my new quartz top!

will this fit a 18" d X 36" L cabinet

my cabinet is 20 deep...I am not sure that 18 would leave enough room for the faucet etc...I used this sink in a tiny bathroom w/ quartzite on top. Nice sink though. I would ask your cabinet maker and counter top fabricator.
