Does the Godin A6 Ultra come with a gig bag case?

All new Godin guitars come shipped in a gig bag (inside a box of course), and the gig bags are VERY nice! High quality, shame to even call it a bag at all, there are other gig bags to purchase that aren’t nearly as thought out and as well manufactured. If you’re like me and only trust a good solid hard case, the Godin 1095 case is specifically built for these series of guitars, well built, the inside compartment has ample room, and protects the guitar beautifully! The only thing better is the Godin TRIC case, which is probably the best protective case anywhere, but they are made only for select models (The A6 is one of them), and are priced quite a bit more…

How deep is the body?

The guitar is 2 inches deep. Because of its' depth, I love the guitar for most of my acoustic/electric playing. Although, it isn't good for playing unplugged. Hope this helps.

Can this guitar fit in a standard Telecaster or Strat hard case ... or is the body to thick for that?

The best case for the Godin “A” series guitars are the TRIC cases available on Godin’s website; the TRIC are the reference standard for protection. On Amazon store is also a hard shell case built for the “A” series, Godin part no. 1095. I have used this 1095 case, it is solid, the inside is soft, and it has the largest closeable compartment for holding accessories (picks, strings, capos, etc.). Worth every penny for the gigging musician!
