Professional Ceramic + Tourmaline Deep Waver for Luxurious Waves

Impressive quality at a great price! I have tried different wavers in the past, the 3-barrel wavers specifically. I found those to be awkward and clunky, and rather heavy when trying to use. Also, they don't get hot enough to create waves in my hair, unless I would keep using it in the same spot, over and over, and my hair is coarse and thick, so that took me HOURS to just get a mediocre wavy look. It was not acceptable, and I would never have time to use that product. Then, I found this deep waver by Hot Tools product, and let me just say it is Ah-mazing! I cannot say enough great things about it, it changed my life. Not only does it get super hot, which works well for coarse and thick hair types (it reaches 430 degrees heat), but it creates the exact wave I was wanting, and it does it FAST! The product has a neat locking feature, that keeps the iron clamped shut tight. I think this is more for storing purposes, but I also found this helpful and more comfortable while using the iron, since it does the leg work for you, instead of requiring you to squeeze the iron together manually for the 10-15 seconds needed to create the wave, and causing hand cramps. I slept on this style without using any type of hair spray or holding products after waving it, and in the morning I still had waves. The only thing I would consider a partial negative about this product is the position of the temperature control dial on the handle. When using the iron I was accidentally continually moving the dial because of the placement. But overall I am in love with this iron, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. If you are wanting the sexy beach waves, then you have to get this product, you will not be disappointed!

I love this thing! I had never even heard of a deep wave iron until I saw my hairdresser wearing these gorgeous, deep, large, bent waves in her hair that made her look a little 1940s glam. I have been growing out my very fine, straight, and now thinning hair in attempt to reach shoulder length for the first time in my 44 years, before I lose any more of it. Blown out straight with a brush, even with the color and highlight body boost, it still just looks limp and stringy, the reality of my genetics and hormones, I guess. I asked my stylist to hit it with the iron she used on her hair, and I could not believe the difference. That wave held most of it's shape the rest of the day, and half of it through the next day. It looked like I had literally twice as much hair, and a cool, modern style. This iron was the closest I could find to what she used on me, and it seems to recreate the look, though it's tricky doing the back on myself. I also have a triple barrel iron I picked up at a beauty supply that same day, and it makes tighter S-waves, which look a little frizzier when finished, but I love that, too, since it plumps everything up and masks most of my thinning problem. I actually burn myself much more easily with the triple barrel than I do with this deep wave iron. I'd recommend using both a mousse on your wet hair, and then some kind of styling spray before putting the wave in, that seems to help the curl take and hold. I never thought this would work on my very fine hair, or that I would get the results I do as a total amateur, but you can get real salon style with this wave iron. I can only imagine how fabulous it would be on longer, thicker hair than mine. I rarely write reviews, but I honestly had given up on ever looking pretty again, and I think I've got a few more good years as long as tools like this are in my arsenal! ;

PROS: Works very well Heats up in a flash Makes great waves Gets very hot & Stays hot! Has a lock feature that keeps waver closed Has a plastic cover for plug.(Saftey fist) CONS: Has no indicator light telling you when it is on. Super easy to burn yourself! Style is kind of akward & uncomfortable to use at times. No velcro to tie up cord when finished. Very easy to burn your hair if not careful. Temp. dial is OUTSIDE of the waver so its easy to change the temp. to high or low while using it. Overall, this is a great waver. But there are a few things that could of made this product better. But it gets the job done wonderfully and in a timely manner. It used to take me 45-60 minutes to wave my hair (because it's length) it took me 25 minutes with this one! GREAT TIME SAVER & GREAT PRODUCT!

I have purchased this deep waver before, over five years ago to be exact. I used it quite regularly but my first one died. Whenever I do my hair with this deep waver I receive a ton of compliments (I have naturally straight hair and I love the body my hair gets. I can get away with not having to do my hair the next day as the waves maintain their shape)!!! I did some research to see what my available options were as far as different brands, and found myself coming back to this same one. Many wavers on the market don't have an adjustable dial to control the temperature and this model has a locking feature to stay closed when you are ready to put it away. It takes me less than 15 minutes to do my entire head and I have quite long hair. You can do large sections of hair at a time which means you can get more done in less time. On top of all of the aforementioned, this price couldn't be beat!! I did a lot of research and even checked out the online vendor where I purchased this waver originally… even better still, I received my package earlier than the anticipated delivery date and I couldn't be happier. I have plans on taking this along with me on my trip to Mexico as I love having soft waves to sport while frequenting the beach.

Awesome deep waver! First time using it was a huge success! My hair is thin and I had voluminous, shiny, bouncy waves that lasted the evening and even the next day! I didn't have to use any mousse or hairspray. I only used a heat protectant spray on my hair beforehand. This waver is easy to use, not too big or heavy. It's well built, solid and feels like it's going to last a long time. Not flimsy at all. It worked really well even at a lower heat setting of 330, I also tried it at 380 for a deeper-set wave. I watched a couple YouTube videos to get a good idea of how to use it and it was easier than expected! Go for it!

Love my deep waver. I did A LOT of research before buying one of these because I wanted to invest in one that would actually work. It works great, and the waves/curls last way longer than If I were to have curled them with a wand or curling iron. I had done my hair one day, went dancing until 3am, came home and my waves we're still way more intact than I was expecting. I would definitely recommend, especially for that summer beachy look, mermaid waves!
