Strawberry plugs are amazing quality
I’ve ordered my second order for these Strawberry plugs. I’ve left it a few months before I left a review as I wanted it to be honest. I cannot speak highly enough for these plants, we have a strawberry patch from the 40 plugs I’ve bought. The strawberries are the best I’ve ever eaten, they are so delicious!! The plants all thrived once I planted them. Excellent seller. Excellent quality. Thank you very much!

HEALTHY STRAWBERRY PLANTS (NOT DEAD!)
My bareroot strawberries arrived today. I knew what to expect as I've purchased bare root strawberries before. At first glance they will look dead they are definitely not if you look closely at mine you will see a new shoot on all the plants. This is the best way to purchase your plants. The first thing to do is to hydrate them so pop them into a bowl of warm water for at least 2 hours before planting them. After giving them a good soak I potted mine up straight away. I've put 2 to each of my troughs as shown in my video. This will allow them plenty of root space. Mine are in a sunny spot so I will need to make sure they don't dry out. If you are planting them in individual pots I would suggest one plant per 7 to 8 inch pot. Again because they need good root space. If you are planting in the ground plant 18 inches apart choose a sunny sheltered spot. Once they get growing and start producing flowers they will need feeding this will encourage them to produce a good flavour and good size berry. I use tomatoe food as its high in potassium. Apply again in two weeks and again in another 2 weeks. They will need regular watering. Water around the plant base a mulch will help. This particular variety Marshmello is a strong and vigorous plant that produces delicious sweet berries. I have grown these before and they have been a great success. I have just had some sent to a friend to try. I would recommend these bare root strawberries. Please remember they will look dead on arrival and to give them a good drink. I do hope you found my review helpful.

Let there be life.
The postman left the package of strawberry bare roots hanging half in and half out of my letterbox where I discovered them some hours after delivery. The bare roots are simply tied together with a rubber band and looked as dead as a dodo. I was worried that the fine roots had been damaged but carried on regardless. I filled a shallow container with room temperature water and lay the roots completely submerge leaving the 'dead' looking dried up crowns. I left them submerged for an hour and a half while I went to prepared their planting space outside - a container planter on legs - so that if necessary it can be moved to follow the sunshine in my tiny garden. I then proceeded to plant them in a mix of good potting compost with a trowelful of horticultural sand, watered them in. Within a couple of days green shoots appeared and the plants are now healthy and growing, all ten of them ! With recent overnight frosts I have covered them and to keep out the strong winds we get in my region. All I have to do now is to nurture but not over water them as I want plenty of strawberries as opposed to plenty of leaves. I am satisfied with this product. UPDATE: Plants growing well with plenty of flowers, and thus, with luck, some strawberries unless the birds get at them first. However, I bought one of those 'umbrella' type of garden cloche's available on Amazon, which I can use instead of having to buy a strawberry net, and which I am finding useful for all manner of things.

Discraceful from every aspect
Plants were the poorest I've ever seen only fit for the compost bin.Yellow dead leaves tiny plants bone dry roots poorly packaged in cheap sandwich bags.I purchased 16 plants 3 varieties and they crammed them in a letter sized box so work out for yourselves as to how small they were.Asked for a refund and 4 or 5 different people gave the same unsatisfactory response which was plant them and wait 2 weeks. They were not worth the money and not as described.Terrible seller, terrible customer service. My advice would be avoid this seller and check other simular reviews I'm not the only customer not satisfied.

Lovely Little Plants
I ordered 12 of these and planted them in early June. I was doubtful I would be able to grow any strawberries this year as it w as quite late to plant the crop. However, the strawberries have been growing beautifully and I have harvested 1 which ripened and it was lovely and sweet. I also will include how I have been growing as I read some other reviews and they were very helpful. I first soaked the roots in cold water for 24 hours. Once soaked, I prepared a rectangular plant pot (around 50cm in length) with drainage holes and placed compost soil into it, making sure to firm the soil as I went along. I did 3 strawberry roots per pot but I recommend doing 2 at most as the pot can become a bit crowded for 3 plants. I then watered the plans every day, making sure not to overwater. The soil should only be moist on the surface. I watered them with tomatoe power grow fertiliser each week. Once they started fruiting, I am using fertiliser twice a week as the plants use a lot of nutrients to grow their strawberries. My shoots also started growing in 4-5 days after planting and the pots being placed in a location of good sunlight in my garden. The fruit has taken around 1 and a half months to grow. Just be mindful that if you want a really good harvest next year, you can try pinching off the white flowers when they have bloomed and you will not have any strawberries this year. This will just allow the root system to establish itself.

3 out of 5 are great
3 out of the 5 arrived in great condition and are already growing nicely. 2 were black and sort on arrival,I planted them out but there is no sign of growth. Unfortunately I don't think there will be hence the 3 star review.
