Excellent product
Cannot beat the Tamiya brand for quality! Durable, easy to use & exactly the thickness & cut accuracy needed for working on these small, delicate models. Great value too!

Perfect saw for small projects…
Had a hard time finding something like this. It is perfect for small cuts that can’t be made accurately, or safely, with a smooth blade (Xacto type). I’m modifying an amt naboo fighter to resemble the one on The Mandalorian. It is working great. The tip in the QA section here that says it works best as a pull saw was right on the money. Don’t force it or put too much pressure on it, let it do the work. A great little saw everyone needs in their kitbashing toolbox. UPDATE: I’ve made something like 18 cuts now with this saw and it is still sharp and working great. I am confident that if you use this saw for what it is intended for, you will be happy with it.

Almost good
This cutting tool worked okay for my balsa wood project. Not sure how well it would perform on harder woods. I did try it out cutting plastic cutting, but it was a challenge.

An excellent tool to have on-hand when things go wrong
Building a 1:25 scale car, I accidentally broke off the steering wheel and steering column. I glued it back on. The next day I noticed that in my haste to repair it, I glued it on upside-down. I doubted I could control where it would break intentionally, so I ordered the saw. It was the perfect tool for working in such a difficult space. Use only light force and let the saw blade do the work - it is much easier to guide that way.

handsaw quality
appears to be a finely made saw and grabs the blades correctly, unlike some cheap ones I have purchased in the past.

Great hobby saw
Perfect for cutting fine pieces on hobby kits. Blade is held firmly. A great addition to the tool kit. Worth the money.

The smallest saw cut the better way
I always like to get a tool that will go right to work. And that’s exactly what I needed it for and I still won’t use it. I’ve never had a problem with the stuff from Tamiya...

Best small hobby saw I've ever used
Excellent saw! Handle is a good shape, blades are top quality made by OLFA Japan. Designed to work best when pushed instead of pulled.
