These were great--until they weren't
Bought these in lots of 20, 100, 100 and 100. The first 220 were flawless. In the box of 100 I received most recently, in the first 20 I installed, the brand new valve core supplied inside the valve stem stuck down and leaked. I fixed that by simply throwing that valve core away and replacing them with new ones I had in stock. The 21st and 22nd valve stems I installed would not let air pass through to inflate the tire whether the valve core was left inside the valve or if it was removed. When I dismounted the tire and removed the new valve stem I connected the air hose to the valve stem and it still would not let air pass through it. I threw the remaining 78 valve stems in the garbage. I have been installing tires since 1980 and I have seen "bad" brand new valve stems but never have I had 22 defective valve stems out of 100. If I won't trust them in my own tires I will not put them in my customer's tires.
