Reliable I've used it under extreme work loads abused it tiled entire showers ,got it wet ,dirty ,dropped it & cut everything from wood ,pvc ,copper ,tile ,metal,brick & it works everytime I've ever needed it

I only really bought this Dewalt Grinder. Because it is a lot cheaper than the milwaukee, works great for my little art projects. Glad I bought it.

This grinder has the best control mechanism. Grinding tile or metal requires care and precision. I am a woman with small hands and other grinders I have used felt bulky in my hands and worst of all, I could hardly reach the control buttons while grinding at the same time, causing a dangerous situation and making it difficult to have precision. This strong medium sized grinder makes grinding fun! The lever controls are accessible and safe to manage. I've cut porcelain tile, cement board and tin roofing, and cast iron bars. It's a breeze. Love it!

I purchased an Amazon Warehouse (returned condition) unit and am grateful for the excellent value I received. The grinder arrived in exactly the condition described. It worked flawlessly upon first use and each time thereafter. I'm highly impressed with the cutting power the compact grinder generates. With speeds reaching approximately 21,000 rpm, I was able to combine the unit with a 5" diamond cutting disc to run through 7/8" high-carbon steel sheets like a knife through butter. The disc installation, locking & safety mechanisms are well designed and made with quality materials. Having used inferior grinders in the past, I appreciated the upgrade to this Dewalt model. With Dewalt, you are always paying a bit for the name but the tools are generally worth the premium. That said, why was the grinder packed with an Allen key when one is not used by this tool and the spanner wrench was not included but needed? Someone in India has the spanner I need.
