I've owned Stanley ruler for years and find them to be high quality in measurement and ease of reading. Good value for money paid. A little bulky but offset by other good factors. Professional lock very handy when using. I'v owned various lengths of this brand and found them all high quality

Not metal case,is plastic. I don't care either way but maybe someone else will. Works as it should, good price. Affordable and decent quality. Easy to use and has a nice lock/unlock feature.

Say no to metric and build your projects in inches!!! High quality, easy to read, durable and just the right size.

I have been using the Stanley Powerlock tape measures for over 35 years. I have a 12 foot and a 16 foot as well.

Stanley tape measures for decades were made of strong metal cases. This one is plastic, but instead of being HONEST about it and making it obviously plastic, they gave the plastic a fake silvery finish so people buying it online would of course obviously assume it was metal, like they were for years and years and years. Well it's not, and I don't appreciate companies I work with actively and purposefully trying to trick and lie to me.
