So darn good, but the price has increased ridiculously
UPDATE: I WILL NEVER SPEND OVER $12.00 FOR THIS PRODUCT. LOWER IT BACK DOWN TO $7.00 FOR MORE ORDERS. Best I’ve had. They are exceptionally good. The only issue I have is with the price fluctuations. It ranges from $7.00 to $11.00 + just depends on the day. So I wait. If they would stabilize the price, I would buy more frequently. That’s why i gave 4 stars instead of 5. 9/25 Now they are over $12.00. What are you doing? You would sell more if you priced them back to $7.00. It’s not like the quantity has increased. You can’t justify this price.

Best fit for my memory of old time butterscotch
Really good butterscotch candy. Not too sugary, a bit buttery and it has that hint of "scotch" or "whiskey." These come loose in a tin, not individually wrapped. They are dusted with a fine powdered sugar, which I easily rinsed off with a bit of water since I did not want the extra sweetness. These fit my memory of old time butterscotch. I wanted to find a good butterscotch candy, so I bought a tin of Cavendish, a box of Gardiners and the Reeds roll. I avoid artificial colors, so these seemed to be the choices after researching on company web sites. Cavendish and Gardiners I would buy again. Gardiners is individually wrapped, so you can toss one in a pocket or purse. To me, Gardiners had a bit more butter flavor. Though Gardiners did not have the "scotch" flavor, it still tasted like butterscotch to me and not a caramel. Reeds was a decent sugary candy, barely tasted like butterscotch. I would not bother to buy Reeds again as long as Cavendish and Gardiners are available. Cavendish could use a bit more of Gardiners butter flavor and Gardiners could use a bit more of Cavendish scotch flavor. Guess I will just have to keep buying both, though these Cavendish would be my personal choice if I could only buy one.

Not Butterscotch, Butter-sketchy Flavored Candy.
I got this flavor because I love this brand of candy, and I always get their fruit drops. When I saw they had a butterscotch, I was so excited because butterscotch is literally my FAVORITE candy. However, I was so upset because these were just NOT good. Don't get me wrong, when you eat it at first, it takes wonderful. Just like a butterscotch should be, but as you eat it, i's starts to have a really strange flavor, almost like soap or a cleaning chemical. I kept hoping it was a mistake, so I continued to eat it. The weird taste comes and goes, but overall, I ended up spitting it out. I let my kids try it and I tried a couple more pieces, but we all said the same thing. I don't know if it as a bad batch, but it was very bad and overwhelming. We all spit them out and unfortunately we won't eat the rest. I wasted my money buying something we won't eat, so in my opinion it wasn't worth buying. It makes me really sad because I love their fruit drops, but the butterscotch one is just... not it.
