am i suppose to remove the sponge surrounding the razor?

What sponge? Only 2 soap bars surround the razor and they are meant not to be removed in order to ensure a smooth glide on the skin to shave. The soap bars infact when wet will form a thin film on the skin that will make the epilation smooth and safe.

Is this original? I received the Gillette but the box don’t look like the original. Very strange

I wonder as well. When my order arrived, the box did not look original. No branding anywhere on the box. The handle was taped inside the box with a couple razor heads floating around the box. I tried to leave a review but Amazon denied the post.

Worth Your Time

This razor delivers a clean shave as long as you're switching out your blades appropriately. The White Tea leaves your skin super soft after the razor glides across. My only complaint here is how quickly the White Tea applicator runs out quickly under water, almost like it melts away. Blades are good quality, and so is the white tea, except the white tea degrades faster.

Easy to use and very convenient

I always buy these Gillette Venus razors to shave my legs because they’re so convenient. I really like that you can refill the top part of the razor—the part with the built-in shave gel—so you don’t have to keep buying a whole new razor each time. It’s very easy to use and much simpler than using shaving cream and a separate razor. Everything is built into one, which makes the whole process quicker and less messy. Overall, it’s a great two-in-one product that I keep coming back to.
