Bruder 02482 Caterpillar Skid Steer Loader

My son loves this toy and the attachments that came with it made it even better. The detail on the toy is great, as my son says it looks just like his grandfather’s! This toy has survived both indoor and outdoor play, so it’s pretty solid and good quality.

This thing is a tank. My 3 & 4 year old play with this all the time and they’re rough with their toys. It rolls really smooth and feels like it’s good quality. It’s a great addition to our construction truck lineup! The boys love it and have a blast with it.

This Bruder CAT skid steer is a hit with my kid! It's tough, realistic, and the moving parts make it super fun. Perfect for sandbox adventures or indoor play. Feels like the real deal, just mini-sized. Definitely a favorite in our toy collection!

This is my 2 year old's favorite toy - he's had it for a year, brought it so many places outside of the house, and its still working fine with no broken parts. Highly recommend, cant go wrong with Bruder.

These are awesome - we have purchased a whole range of them for our boys - now age 6, and we are now giving as gifts to nephew and friends - They are very well engineered, well built, solid - take a good beating, while they are also very realistic, and have nice features on how the buckets and arms move. Can't say enough about how good these are, and the fact that they are made in EU is also refreshing, if they can't be made in the USA - then its nice atleast that they aren't made in China, as per most everything these days. If your child loves diggers and other equipment, highly consider Bruder products, they are very high quality and worth the extra price. It's a shame there aren't many American toy companies left that could make great product like this.

I think this brand is awesome in that they have so many different varieties of truck, so there are options beyond the same old same old. Not to mention they are designed to look and function in a realistic manner. So if you have a hardcore truck lover in your house they are sure to be a hit. My kid was so excited when he saw the skid steer and attachments beyond the standard bucket. He is especially a fan of the hammer attachment, as you push into a surface it retracts the tip so it looks like it is actually driving into the ground. Unfortunately, the drill attachment broke pretty darn easy. As the various trucks are rather complex/realistic in design it means that there are definitely lots of areas which could break with heavier use. With the prices tending toward the higher end it becomes a question of how intensely does your kid play with their toys and how much are they into trucks. When my son saw a display of Bruder trucks in a store he lost his damn mind. When my kid becomes that excited over something it tends to push me more towards the worth it side of things.

This Bruder skid steer is a huge hit with my son. The detail is awesome—it looks just like the real Caterpillar loaders on job sites. It’s super sturdy, with moving parts that actually hold up to rough play in the dirt and sandbox. The bucket lifts and tilts like the real thing, and it rolls smoothly indoors or out. Great size, durable plastic, and no tiny breakable pieces. Definitely one of the better construction toys out there!

“Made in Germany” says it all. It does all the moves like the real one. There is nothing that my son hasn’t done to it yet. He even put his weight in it (40 pounds) and moved and nothing happened to it. These beasts are built to last.
