Exactly what I was looking for
I love everything about this mug. One of the things it wanted me to rate was "leak-proof" which I gave 3 stars since it's not very leak-proof, but that's not very important to me. Anyways, I'm very particular about my morning tea ritual & was on the hunt for a travel mug that fit all my criteria. I bought this mug about a year ago and have used it almost every day for my morning tea which I make at home and take into the office with me. It fits in my car's cup holders and is so soft to hold. I do not put the mug in the dishwasher even though it says dishwasher safe. I do, however, put it in the microwave a lot. I sip on my tea for a couple hours in the mornings and the fact that I can microwave it means I can sip on hot tea all morning long. I prefer this ceramic mug over an insulated mug because I love to feel the warmth of the drink in my hands, and because something about drinking tea/coffee from a metal insulated mug seems unceremonious to me. Additionally, I like to take the lid off to be able to smell the aroma of my tea when I drink it. The color is so cute & the ceramic has remained stain-free despite constant use. Some stains do build up over time but I use baking powder + water or dawn power wash to get the stains out every once in a while. All parts of the mug (including the silicone sleeve) have maintained their shape, texture, and color. I HIGHLY recommend this mug to coffee/tea lovers. It is definitely worth the money.

Pretty, great size
I originally bought a pink terrazzo 16 oz tumbler but ended up returning it because I really wanted the cream terrazzo which was out of stock at the time. Glad I did. I ordered the cream when it was back in stock and I think is a bit thicker and more substantial compared to the pink. A lot of reviews mention that it is thin and gets really hot when pouring tea water in. Hopefully this new batch is a little better about that. I use it primarily for coffee so that is not an issue for me. I wanted a portable mug that was ceramic and microwaveable which is surprisingly hard to find. This checks all my boxes so I am happy with it. I don’t have a dishwasher and it has held up well with hand washing. I try to avoid using metal spoons to stir my drinks because they mildly scratch the bottom. I use chopsticks as an easy substitute. Other reviewers who marked it lower have legitimate complaints (especially for the price) but for my intended use the mug is attractive and functional.

Great Concept but Execution Could be Improved
First, let's be clear about this mug's limitations. It's ceramic so it's just not going to keep your beverage warm for as long as one of those vacuum sealed stainless steel mugs. I've tried several of those but find that they work TOO well, keeping my tea scalding hot for so long I have to wait hours and hours before it's even safe to drink. This one's performance is pretty much the same as any old coffee mug, which is exactly what I want. Next, the lid is really only there to prevent splashes. There's no way a push-on lid with a sliding valve like this will ever be leak proof. If you need that, you should look for something with a screw-on lid and a locking valve. Personally, I don't use the lid much at all, but it does help to prevent spills during the long walk from the break room back to my office. It also helps to keep dust out when I'm on the factory floor, but I'd never even consider tossing it in a bag. Understanding all that, this mug still seemed to be exactly what I was looking for: something to use around the office that looked really sleek and unique. I've had it for quite a while now, using it pretty much every day, and it still looks brands new. The ceramic has a nice satin finish, with smooth rounded edges that are really comfortable to drink from and easy to clean. Conceptually, I don't mind the lack of a handle. Most regular coffee mugs have tiny little handles that you can barely get a single finger through or they have a weird shape which makes them really uncomfortable to carry, especially when they're of a larger size. Conversely, the silicone sleeve of this mug has a very nice texture in the hand, is easy to remove, and quite durable. It can be a little annoying during cleaning because it traps a lot of water, but that's hardly a deal breaker. I also like that it cushions the bottom of the mug, giving it a soft landing when setting it down on a hard surface and making it very quiet. However, there are some serious design flaws, all of which relate to the silicone sleeve. While it feels nice to hold, it doesn't do much to stop the heat from migrating through to your hand. You can hold it for maybe 15-seconds before you have to put it down or risk a second degree burn. To safely make the journey back to my desk, I have to put a layer of crumpled paper towel between the mug and my hand. The bottom of the mug also has a slight curve to the edges which makes the base less stable. This is only exacerbated by the sleeve which doesn't always sit perfectly flat with the bottom of the mug, making it rock very easily. The hole in the bottom of the sleeve can also act like a suction cup, causing it to unexpectedly stick to your desktop. When you reach for the mug, expecting to easily pick it up, you could find that it instead sticks for a split second, which is a great way to flirt with disastrous spills. I feel a slight redesign of the sleeve would fix all these problems. A creped design, like is used on disposable cardboard coffee cups, would help with the heat transfer. You can even buy these already, but I'd prefer not to lose the nice smooth look of the original. I'm sure the company could come up with something that had a smooth exterior and a creped interior which would deliver the increased performance needed while still retaining the sleek look. The air spaces would also prevent it from turning into a suction cup and help to let any trapped water get out. Next, they need to give this redesigned sleeve a squared-off base that still wraps around the bottom of the mug. This would give it a nice stable base while keeping the cushioning on the bottom. If the manufacturer addressed these issues, it would make this a near perfect mug for me.

Important changes need to be made...
I bought this mug because I need a reusable to-go coffee cup and I hate the metallic taste that steel-insulated cups give my hot drinks. For the most part, this works just fine, but there are some improvements I would like to see and honestly, I wouldn't recommend until these changes are made: 1) The lid is not leak-proof as advertised. While the rubber ring connects the lid to the mug itself just fine, it's the lid itself that leaks. The slide that opens and closes the lid does not have any rubber seal and my coffee leaks every time I use it. I wouldn't expect it to survive jumping jacks or cartwheels, but I would hope that driving around with it in my cupholder would be no problem. Not the case. I would like to see a complete seal in every aspect of the lid to prevent splashes/leaks (and a screwed cap rather than a "pop in" cap would be nice too). 2) The silicone exterior is too big for the mug and tends to slide down (and it's not a great insulator). This wouldn't normally be a big deal except that the mug sits on that same silicone, and when it slides down it causes the cup to become unstable on a surface. As if it's sitting on a cushion instead. 3) Going back to the lid, it's always nice to have a mouthpiece that doesn't leave coffee all over the lid every time you drink it. Not the biggest issue, but something to point out. Having a mouthpiece that drains excess coffee back into the cup would be nice so I don't have to slurp the lid after every sip. 4) Heat -- this one doesn't bother me personally, because I drink my coffee pretty quickly but any warm drink you put in doesn't stay insulated for very long. Hour tops before it becomes lukewarm. Probably a result of the bad silicone insulation as it gets very hot in your hand. I've seen other "double walled" vacuum insulated mugs out there so I know it can be done. I hope this review finds the eyes of the manufacturers/designers and some changes are made because this really could be a fantastic to-go mug that appeals to the eyes, fits ergonomically in the hand, fits in nearly all cupholders and Keurigs, and leaves your drink tasting as they should.

Great Tea Mug
I like this. It's exactly what I anticipated receiving. It's a simple ceramic mug with a silicone sleeve instead of a handle. It's not double walled, so it does get hot when you put boiling water into it. It cools to a comfortable temp fairly quickly. It has a basic lid that is not leak proof, but protects you from splashes or dribbles. I wouldn't recommend giving it to kids or using it while you base jump, but if you're making yourself a nice cup of tea to sit down and enjoy, this is a very cute and comfortable mug.

Form Over Function
First, this cup is beautiful. The color (pink) is so unique and lovely. The silicon sleeve is very soft to the touch. The cup fits nicely in the cup holder in my car. It didn't leak (not that I tossed it around or anything, but it did fine in the car. As far as the taste/smell that others mentioned, I didn't have that at all. Tasted and smelled fine. Now the cons. This cup literally sucks the heat out of my coffee. My coffee is colder after a few minutes in this cup than it is in a normal coffee mug with no lid. It is freezing after 10 minutes. I even tried filling the mug with scalding water and letting it sit for a while first. No good, the coffee still got cold very quickly. Then I tried microwaving the mug with the coffee in it. The result was that the cup itself was super hot and I couldn't hold it, while the coffee still got cold quickly. Uuuuurgh. Also, while the silicon is nice and soft, it's also slippery, not "sticky" like a phone cover. I was afraid it would slip out of my sleepy hand. I REALLY wanted to love this cup, and like I said, it's beautiful. But I'm just not a cold coffee fan. Pass.

Great for my morning matcha latte on the go
I read a lot of reviews of what this mug was and was not, so that's the basis of the review. I knew it was not an insulating mug. I knew it wasn't leak proof. I knew that the silicone was removable and somewhat prone to holding water if not carefully dried. That's all fine. Every morning I make a warm matcha latte. I don't need to throw it in my bag or keep it warm throughout the day. I just need a mug I can cover with a lid, if needed, to take with me on the go. I don't need it to stay warm all day, I drink it before it even has a chance to get cool. I like the warm feeling of the mug on my hands. I love the ceramic. It has some weight, but my drink tastes delicious. I'm happy with this mug and will buy a few more. Oh, and even though my matcha latte is only about 8-10oz, I prefer the 16oz to the 12oz since I foam my milk. Less chance of spillover.

Simple, modern, easy to hold, attractive
These are my favorite coffee mugs ever. They have clean lines and a nice soft grip that makes them the easiest to hold even a steaming hot coffee or tea. You can tell the quality of the mug by the weight (which IMO is perfect) and the craftsmanship. These are not the type of mug I'd recommend ypu put in a backpack and hope it won't spill. They aren't really that great for travel in general—but as household mugs that you can reheat and take somewhere close (like to the car) they are perfect. I have 4 and would buy more in a second if something happened to one of them. Sadly one of the mugs has had some strange fracturing in the ceramic, but the other 3 are in great shape. No chips or fracturing so guessing that's a one-off defect, but that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Zufrieden
Material hochwertig und stabil. Zum üblichen to-go geeignet. Würde den Becher aber nicht im Rucksack o.ä. transportieren. Bei längerer Schieflage hält er nicht 100% dicht.
