Will this tool remove a petrol mower blade ? (Tried everything to get it off to change the blade including impact driver to no avail 🤔

It may if there’s enough bolt for the tool to grip but take care—a sudden spanner slip can easily break the porcelain. If your stud is flush (no pun intended) with another surface this tool is useless to you. It depends on there being at least an inch of exposed bolt to work.

Can anyone explain how this removes a piece of stud that is flush with its casing because this seller doesn’t

Please note that this stud extractor only works on studs that are protruded out of the surface they are mounted on. This is mostly for studs that are not damaged but needs removing to allow for certain repairs or modifications to be carried out. It may be used for damaged or undamaged studs around 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch above the surface but will need some good skills when it's down to 1/4 inch; will definitely not work when stud is flat against the surface. You will need to drill a hole through the stud then use the other type of extractor to take it out. Hope this helps.
