Awesome but BE CAREFUL AND GENTLE.
This thing absolutely rocks on stainless tubing. All of the heat goes into the chip and away from your workpiece, so you won't ruin your welds with rust down the line from austentite precipitation. The cut is straight and requires pretty much zero finishing for a perfect cope. I love welding pie cuts, so this thing made my life a lot better. THAT SAID... This is a tool made of lots of carbide inserts. Carbide is very very brittle. Feed this blade even slightly too fast and the teeth will shatter like glass. Be good to it, and it will be good to you.

Cuts like butter.... one time
I've been fabricating for almost 20 years. I'm no expert but I've gone through my share of tools and techniques to ensure the longevity of my tools. I've learned to appreciate buying the proper tool for the job over the years. So when I have a project that's all 304 stainless steel 16 gauge tubing, I decide to buy a dedicated stainless cutting blade. enter the evolution company. The first cut was smooth as butter. I put my hand weight on the saw and let the blade do the work. I don't force it, I don't try and rush it. It cuts at the rate that it wants to cut. The first cut was fine and straight. The second cut was fine but a little uneven so when I decide to inspect the blade teeth I find that some of the carbide tips have already broken off. This was only two cuts! For the cost of this blade this is completely unsatisfactory. I started a tally on the blue masking tape on the saw and I will report back when the blade is completely useless but at this rate I think it's going to be a problem after about 15 to 20 cuts. EDIT NOV 1, 2024 I'm 16 cuts in and I don't see myself using this blade anymore. The last four or five cuts have been pretty bad. still cutting 16 gauge tubing it takes me a good 5 to 10 seconds to even begin to get through the top of the tube, then it moves relatively smoothly through the exposed edges down the sides until it hits the bottom of the tube where now I am having to put a GOOD amount of force on the blade to cut through the bottom. This is completely unsatisfactory and I will not be buying this blade again. I'm basically paying $10 per cut at this rate and then it's expended.

What a difference! Master of stainless!
I have been very pleased with the original blue mild steel blade that came with my Evolution saw. That was until I tried sawing 1/4" thick stainless steel plate. The blade vibrated and I couldn't help but think I was damaging my mild steel blade making those cuts. Aside from that, the cuts took a longer time to make and during the longer cutting time developed some heat in the process. I dragged my feet for a long time because buying the stainless steel blade was so expensive. But now that I have it, I wish I didn't wait. This blade cuts through stainless like the mild steel blade cuts through... mild steel. (duh!) It seems obvious when I write it out like that, but wow what a difference. If you are on the fence like I was, do yourself a favor and just pull the trigger. The right tool for the job is never the wrong decision and easily cutting through tough material is oddly satisfying. Now I just need to find a drill bit set that works as well as this saw blade. :)

Gets the job done!!!!
This is a beast of a blade and cuts stainless with ease. It is beautiful to look at right out the package speak and shiny and ready to go. Finding a blade that cuts stainless can be difficult but let me assure you this one will get the job done every time. A little pricey yes but totally worth it. I put it on my WEN saw and put it to work. Cuts are on target and burs are minimal. I will be ordering again when my blade finally wears out.

Great for 304 stainless
This blade has worked perfectly for my 304ss handrail and know it is not suitable for an abrasive saw or a wood saw. For a low rpm cold cut saw as this blade was intended for it works fantastic (evolution or wen cold cut) Made 30+ cuts and it’s still cutting as good as the first cut. I highly recommend this blade for the proper saw.

CUts great on mild steel
Works great on mild steel - I used the 64 tooth blade on SS and it lasted only a few cuts. I don't want to try this SS blade on SS as I feel it wouldn't last long either- longer because of more teeth, but I can't see it lasting as long as I would like as SS is hard.

Great blade, Short flife span
I bought an Evolution saw, the best one I could get for my fabrication business, and went ahead and ordered this stainless blade since i do ALOT of work with stainless. First blade I got I thought it couldn't get any better than this. Left nice cuts that needed minimal cleanup. Quick and cool. I did about 25 cuts through 1/4" thick 1.5 x1.5 stainless angle. Was satisfied up until that point. Moved over to another job where I was cutting 2.5" stainless tubing for an exhaust, and I caught the blade at a weird angle and pretty much impacted the teeth on the material. Chipped a lot of the teeth, so I went ahead and ordered the blade since it was my fault I killed the blade. Second blade started off like the first, but got only lasted about 10 cuts through 16 gauge (.065"), 2.5" OD stainless tube before the blade would no longer cut. Had to put a lot of pressure on the saw to get though cuts and it was pretty much like using an abrasive saw. Was pretty disappointed but went ahead and ordered another since I still had jobs lined up I needed to get done. The third blade only lasted through 3 cuts before it no longer went through the tubing. 3 CUTS!!! Will no longer be ordering this blade, IDK if they switched manufactures, but this blade is complete garbage!!

Like a Hot Knife through butter!
Use this on a dry cutting saw and it works quite well. This is my second blade as the first one became quite dull after years of occasional use. Put in the new blade and it cut like a hot knife through butter. Highly recommend these blades.
