That is if you want as close to HDMI as you can get. **Q: Has anyone who bought this tried it on an elgato hd60 for streaming? i get a good picture, but the sound is badly distorted. looking for a solution.** A: I have this exact same issue. I only want this device to capture xbox gameplay. The audio is awful. Gonna try a component to hdmi adapter since I have my xbox component cables and they worked fine on a TV i have that still has hookups for it. **Q: I have a samsung nu8000 65 inc series. Would this cable work with my tv?** A: Yes it will. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for connecting XBox Original to a modern TV *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 May 2019* Fantastic item for those wishing to do a bit of retro gaming but struggling to connect an Xbox to a modern TV.No issues experienced by myself. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does exactly what it's supposed to *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 May 2025* Does exactly what it's supposed to ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ OG Xbox HDMI *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 September 2019* Simplist solution for hooking up an OG Xbox to a HDMI TV.I'm using it with a soft modded PAL Xbox so I can access the higher resolutions available. If your using this cable with an un-modded PAL xbox it will still work, but it wont look any better than a composite cable. ## Frequently Bought Together - POUND HD Link Cable for Original Xbox - Compatible with All Modern TVs, HDMI Cable for HD Video Quality and 480i/720p Resolution On Xbox Classic - Cotchear USB Adapter Cable for Xbox (Black) - Brook Wingman XB 2 Converter - Wireless Controller Adapter for XB Retro Consoles and PC, Supports Remap and Adjustable Turbo --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/112781262-pound-hd-link-cable-for-original-xbox-compatible-with-all](https://www.desertcart.is/products/112781262-pound-hd-link-cable-for-original-xbox-compatible-with-all) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
