I'm sure there would be limitations. I just filled one up with hot water to test it. It is fine and though the outside is warm to the touch, it is not too hot to hold. I would avoid putting them in the microwave however. Other wise I think it would be work fine...now you've got my creative juices working and I'm thinking perhaps some kind of soup shooter! **Q: are these sturdy and large enough to hold two shrimp cocktail?** A: They're pretty sturdy but depending on how many shrimp you wanna put in there you'd probably wanna use the popcorn shrimp size. They're not that big maybe 3 1/2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inch opening on top. **Q: How much space in inches would 40 cups take?** A: each cup is about a square inch on the bottom and an inch and a half on the top so 1.5 x 40 = 60 inches. A 10x10 plate would be more then enough space. **Q: Is this the best size for a french toast stick with syrup at bottom, think they'll tip over?** A: Good question! I used them for parfait desserts, but I don't Dr why you can't use them for French toast sticks. They're pretty sturdy, I don't think they would tip over. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Desserts shooters *by J***R on June 14, 2026* Loveeeeee these cups!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Encantada *by A***A on April 30, 2026* El envase ideal para mis minis tres leches.
