the board itself is amazing, but I got damaged item, it has two horrible dents so as money wise would say quality should be better, or consider to pack it better.

Luv the chopping board - good looking and functional. I will use a mineral oil to keep it conditioned. Note: pleased to say the measurement are 12.5”, 16” and 1.5” thick. 6” would be ideal as a cheese board

Wood splintered on the entire the surface on both sides after first initial washed with mild soap and water (I have not even got the chance to use it). Contacted customer support and was tole to initiate for a replacement. I am going to get a refund instead. Lesson learnt: getting popular product and based on reviews will not guarantee it’s quality.

I wanted this cutting board for many years, after reading the ATK reviews. But it’s expensive and I had an okay smaller bamboo one. Finally, gift card in tow, I ordered this cutting board. There’s a few things about it that have been revolutionary for me: - it it massive, it’s basically a small counter. I use it entirely differently than other cutting boards. It’s like a movable work station that fits over my my cooktop. - it is thick, heavy, and stable - it’s very comfortable to chop on because it’s not going anywhere - it’s fairly gentle on the knives (I sometimes use plastic cutting boards) So the size is amazing, I wish I bought it sooner. The quality is also great. It’s well built. The finish is lovely. Because it is so big and heavy I am wiping it down with a towel instead of washing in the sink, so I’m keeping it confined to bread and vegetables for the most part.

I ended up having to purchase this board two times. The first one was unfortunately packed with a single 3' sheet of packing paper in the box with this 15+ pound slab of wood and arrived with multiple dents on one side that were severe enough that the board wouldn't lay flat with that side down. Fortunately the return/replacement process was fairly painless and the second board arrived unscathed. Shipping issues aside, this is a wonderful work surface for cutting tasks. It's heavy and flat enough that typical activity won't have it sliding around on the counter and after years of using smaller plastic cutting boards, it was positively luxurious to have such a large work area. The board arrived a bit dry, but a quick wash and pass with some mineral oil brought out the color and natural luster of the teak (as well as the natural warm spicy smell of the wood). Mine has a lot of variation between the individual pieces with some knots and dramatic streaks making up the finished board and is overall quite appealing to look at. Cleaning and care are simple, usually just requiring soap and warm water, but I admit that I don't cut meats on this board. The size does make it a tight fit in most sinks, but that should be the only hurdle. Highly recommended if you have the space for it.

This is an excellent cutting board to leave in place on my kitchen counter. The quality is top notch. With this board, I now have a full set of 4 teakhaus cutting boards complete, from a tiny square 8"x8" one to this full size chef's board. The board arrives not just dusty, it is dirty, and it must be washed with neutral pH soap, then dried and soaked with at least one soak of mineral oil before using it. On my board one side was noticeably smoother (the top one) that other which felt slightly rougher. The only thing that I noticed is a slight unevenness in one corner (makes the board wobble which is a no-no in kitchen, not safe) which I corrected by placing a self-adhesive transparent plastic Clear Rubber Bumper (2cm in diameter, 3M brand) in that corner. It corrected the issue right away, although simply placing a damp washing cloth in that corner under the board worked just as well. Now my cutting board sits firmly rooted on the kitchen counter. It's a beauty!
