Took me an hour. The video instructions were good but not the best. Good product, programming was easy. That is also available in video instructions.

Absolutely love this. Works as described. Brother-in-law installed it said it was not difficult.

Installed in my personal car, keeps me warm in cold weather and makes the car cool after being parked in the sun during the day. Fairly easy and straightforward install if you are mechanically inclined.

EDIT: 1/3/26- I’ve gone through two batteries. This remote start causes a parasitic drain. I have a viper remote start on my other vehicle and there is no drain. Unfortunately I had to remove this device and go with my first choice Viper. Just spend the extra to get a system that won’t drain your battery. Really disappointed, this was such a cool idea! So easy!! This is going to help so much with the central California heat! It was so quick and easy to install and the instructions are clear as day!

Seems to work great, easy 20 min install and about 30 seconds to program. We'll see how it holds up! So far I'm happy though. All i needed was the included pry tool and a Phillips screwdriver to remove the panel under the steering column.

I have has this remote starter for about 6 months. It has not failed me. The plug and play aspect is excelent and even my mechanic who installed it was impressed with the ease it went in. A far cry from the price of a factory instalation! I highly recommend this product. Click your link button three times and your vehicle comes to life. On press on the brake to change gears and the vehicle stops running is the perfect theft deterrent. We'll worth the price.

Easy install, less then an hour. Used all last winter with no issues. watch the install video a couple times first. short and to the point.

Installed on my own in less than an hour. Watched video a couple times before installing which was helpful. Programming did not work like video showed. I ended up skipping first step because green light on module did not come on, and it still miraculously worked.

Just installed kit on 2016 RAV4 in about 30 mins and works great. Installed one on 2015 Nissan Frontier, 2 years ago and it’s still working great too. Remote start is a must have here in Canada in winter. Start-x installation videos show everything you need to know specific to the vehicle. Simple easy to follow programming instructions too. Update: I’ve added a Compustar RF kit (recommended by Start-x support) to extend the range

The remote starter is exactly as advertised. The videos that are provided make it really quick and easy to install. I was able to install the full system in under 45 minutes. I have just received the system today and so far it works flawlessly. If I have any problems, I will update as we go.
