avoids toxins in plastic, different and useful
This is a peculiar bottle, with peculiar advantages and peculiar disadvantages. That said, I ordered 2, checked them out, then ordered 3 more. It absolutely seals, with an additional latch to secure the cover. The carrying handle is minimal at best: they could have done better. The opening is about 1 ⅝ inches. It's very light weight. The inside of the cap is relatively uncomplicated and easy to clean. It holds a quart, 32 ounces. And it’s silicon, much safer than plastic. Like all bottles, the cap is plastic. I just keep it upright if I have anything acidic in it. It has a valve, so it won't spill if you accidentally lose control while drinking. It's still easy to drink, because the bottle just collapses as you drink. And, the less it contains the smaller it becomes. There is a little spring-loaded button between the spout and the hinge: pushing that down will release the vacuum. (Well-designed, eh?) I find it usually takes 2 hands to drink from it because it is so floppy. It stands by itself pretty well, tho it helps to release the vacuum periodically. It tends to stick to the sides of a cup holder in the car. You can roll it up, but I think it would be easier to pack if you just left it flat. My experience is that it takes a long time to dry out. It has a sort of lip where the silicon joins the rim, and this tends to catch water. It comes with a nice sponge brush: I would suggest using that to remove as much water as possible after washing it. Drain it upside down, then turn it right side up to finish drying. Some folks complained of an off taste. The suggestion is to put in a couple spoonfuls of baking soda then fill with hot water and let sit for a few hours. I didn't notice a smell initially but did that anyway and haven't noticed any off tastes. If you have to pack it while it’s still wet I bet you could clean it then put in a bit of baking soda to control stink. I have another silicon bottle that got left too long without cleaning. I haven’t been able to remove the stain but the surface seems smooth and there’s no off taste. I wouldn't recommend it for smoothies because of the valve and because the small opening makes it difficult to clean thoroughly. It works great for juices, water, tea, infusions. It's also great for drinking in bed, because of the valve. You could probably fill it with ice and cold water for a cold pack, or with hot water for a hot pack. (Needless to say, DON’T put it in a microwave!) It says it will withstand boiling water. Because it collapses, it could be a way to store wine away from oxygen. I've found other people's reviews very helpful for other products, I hope this helps you with this one.

Great travel water bottle
This has been a great travel water bottle. I am always looking for ways to cut down and minimize the things I bring on trips, while also reducing waste if possible. I love that this collapses down to a small foot print. It's easy to use and re-pressurize after drinking from it. Holds a good amount of water, and haven't had any issues with leaking or cracking.

Great for travel, unless you need ice-cold water
This was really great for travel, leak proof and convenient, and I kind of liked the floppiness drinking from it. I could actually “feel” how much I was consuming throughout the day and used it as a cue to drink more, and I didn’t have any issues with it standing up, as long as I refilled the air. I would say it’s significantly less convenient if you need your water cold - the silicone definitely sweats a lot and that will get your items just as wet as if it leaked. I was traveling in the tropics and found that water generally kept room temperature unless I left it in direct sun for a while. As long as I kept it in a bag or under a towel it wasn’t an issue for me (at room temp). At some point I did leave this in the freezer and one of the leak-proof parts in the lid exploded off, and then it was REALLY leaking everywhere, I had to carry it home in a plastic shopping bag. If that hadn’t happened, I’d probably still be using this bottle daily. I will most likely buy another to replace it because I loved it so much, and now I know better. I would also say you can clearly see when mold starts collecting inside. I was in a jungle area with well water, so I was hyper aware and looking for it. Personally I think it’s a pro - mold collection happens in any bottle, and with this one it’s just harder to ignore the reminder to clean! The included brush worked really well for the floppy nature of the bottle, and the silicone lets it slide right off with very little effort. I also washed the bottle with dish soap before using it and had no issues with silicone smell or taste after that.

Loved it! Holds lots of water.
I loved this water bottle. It’s super big and made of thick plastic. I’ve had other similar style bottles and they always seem super flimsy unlike this one. No taste or strong smell. It has a clip for you to carry it on a bag and the very leak proof. It has the metal half circle that locks and on top of that the mouth piece itself has a plastic opening that prevents leaking unless take a sip. The lid by itself is pretty strong as well. It is on the bigger side especially the lid so if you’re considering something small this is not a good fit but personally I wanted something to travel that would fit a lot of water. It comes with a clip and a kit to help you wash it. I also liked that the lid had a vent that prevented the bottle from collapsing in on itself. Weighs a little less than an iPhone(without a case)and is about two iPhones tall.

Silicon strap that secures lid detached
I really like the concept of this silicon bottle. I can recommend it for limited use (not for flight attendants or pilots who might fly commercial regularly). It is convenient for vacation commercial air travel. I do *not* recommend it for regular/frequent business travel, regular hiking trips, etc. That said, the silicone strap that secures it when it rolls up ripped off, so although the bottle itself is usable, it sort of defeats the purpose of using it for commercial air travel since it won't stay rolled up when not full of liquid. NOTE: This bottle is soft silicone so it will *not* stand on its own. It does have a valve that prevents the water from squeezing out when you hold the soft-silicon body, which is nice. I'm torn as to whether or not I can recommend this. It really depends on how often/rigorously you're going to use it. Personally, I will not be purchasing another.

Love these waterbottles
Strong and sturdy plastic container. Super easy to carry since they collapse to a small size. Easy to fill once you get the hang of holding onto the plastic. They hold a lot of liquid and take very little space when empty.

Can’t get enough how I love this water bottle!
It is definitely The best Water bottle I ever had in my life. It is light but can consume a lot of liquid inside. When I finish the water I just folding it and put it in my purse and no worries about extra space. It is also very comfortable to drink from and if you want it to be in the shape of a bottle again you just need to blow it like a balloon, that make it fun for my daughter(: It is easy to clean too. Making travel much easier.

There is no structure so it easily bends even when full of water
The concept of a water bottle that can be collapsed for travel is great. I was very much looking forward to trying it for my business travel. However, once full it is still very bendy. Trying to hold this wiggly container while tipping it for drinking is worthy of a Saturday Night Live skit. It became even less manageable as the water was depleted. I don’t believe it can be returned at this point but I’m going to look into it anyway.

Leaky Defective Water Bottle
I originally purchased these because of the interesting concept. When received I quickly noticed the is a severe leakage, water would continuously drip when store in bag. There is a strong silicone and rubber smell. I would be worried to drink out of these. I never had the chance to use these because of the defect. The seller ignored my messages and concerns; trying to avoid all responsibilities, even after sending them lots of photo evidence. It's absolutely the worst product that I've ever received on Amazon. Would NOT recommend.
