this flux works really well for electrical connections and the price for a full pound of it is honestly unbeatable compared to the tiny containers at the craft store. solder flows way better with this stuff than without it and it's low odor which you really appreciate when you're working in a small space for a while. just make sure you clean it off after you're done soldering since it is corrosive and will cause problems if you leave it sitting on copper.

Laco combined with Canfield water safe solder is the best combo to use if you are a service plumber working on old copper or in wet conditions. Hasn’t let me dine in 15 plus years.
