SSL 48 Element Tri Boom TV Aerial KIT Digital HD Freeview Loft/Outdoor Aerial Antenna 4G & 5G With Full Kit High Performance

Bought the 48 element kit to replace the aged aerial that's been in the loft since who knows when (pre 1980s). Following the intructions it was reasonably simple to assemble and to install, but tricky to find a good mounting point for what is quite a bulky setup, used a simple android app to find the best signal in the direction of Crystal Palace and now have a great picture on the smart TV in the kitchen and over 180 channels to choose from.

Everything you need is easy to install giving good results and picture quality. Good kit with everything you need. It might be worth buying more connectors and I installed it with a splitter box so that I could use the same aerial to provide a good picture in another room without installing another aerial, still with good quality and a large number of channels would recommend.

Great product for the diy installer

Instructions for assembly are not that detailed but it’s relatively straight forward to assemble. Install is very straight forward. Seems a decent build quality and is giving excellent signal quality and strength. it’s quite compact which is good as I have it in my loft

After months of losing channels and pixelation I took the plunge to change the aerial. The existing aerial was fitted professionally quite a few years ago. I read lots of reviews on various products before deciding on this aerial. It wasn't going to be an easy change with the height I had to go up replace it so I didn't want to make a mistake by selecting the wrong aerial. This came flat packed so needed a little assembling but easy enough. Fitted on to my existing mast and using a labgear meter it took less than 1 hour to complete the job and I now have full signal on all TV's in the house. With filtering on the newer aerials for 4g and 5g these are so much better to reduce interference from the newer mobile network masts. Very chuffed with the job today.

Work's really well

Since installing this ariel I have checked and replaced the cable three times due to getting no signal error messages on my TV. Being an electrician, I have installed many TV ariels in my working career and this is the only time that I have encountered any problems. Is it the installer? Is it poor quality cable (it wasn't cheap stuff). Is it the ariel? I leave it up to you to decide.
