The chair arrived in good shape with no damage to box or chair inside. Assembly was fast and easy. All hardware was there and all the same, so mounting was easy and one tool is all that was needed. The frame/support is very heavy duty and all ergonomic adjustments actually work as they should. The arm rests are make from durable material and the steel frame supports are heavy gauge steel for long life support with no sage or bending. The seat cushion is very supportive and comfortable. Rollers work well.

The chair is comfortable and has good support, but I did have a problem with one arm. It broke after about 6 weeks. I handled it via email and communication with the company was quick and polite. They offered to send me a new chair arm free of charge. After some time, when the item hadn't arrived, I contacted them again for an update. They explained that with the pandemic they were having warehouse issues. I was willing to accept that, but they also issued a partial refund. Finally, about two weeks later, an entire new chair arrived. I would have normally given 4 stars (or less) for the broken arm, but I was very impressed with the communication and support. I would have considered anyone of the responses they offered acceptable, but they went far beyond the minimum.

I would easily pay over $200 for a chair with all these features. Our office gave us a $3,000 chair that I've been using few years...With long working hours from home, padding has gone down and it had few adjustments...So I bought this chair and could right away feel the comfort. It has up/down, it has tilt to adjust how much you lean and seat adjusts as well...Its quite comfortable..My hands often stay on the table, so not sure I will have the arm rest wearing issues most folks have. However I find the adjustable arm rest quite well built, similar to my high end chair..Over all I am surprised and pleased with this chair..Time will tell, I only had it for a week..No squeaks as well....

Really nice chair. The seat is very thick. And the chair has some weight to it. High quality.All around beautiful chair. And the chair will not go down. It stays at the level you set it. Has three adjustment handles, plenty of comfy positions. I highly recommend this chair. So glad I found it! I rate at 5 stars!

Needed a new home office chair without breaking the bank. This was easily assembled. This is a solid, good quality, comfortable chair despite the low cost. Very pleased.

My Backrest will not go down. The chair is good but I need help with getting the back down. If you got the Hercke chair. please give them a call. If your chair can all broken up in the box. they will replace the broken piece. I am getting my back rest replaced within 5 to 7 days. But they cost a lot less on their website.

Purchased 21 May 2020: Needed to replace my office chair, but was on a limited budget. Read a lot of reviews and decided on the Herke Deluxe (fun fact on their website they only offer 2 office style chairs, but have a major line of garage/shop storage cabinet assemblies, that are also available through Amazon). My chair arrived 8 days earlier than was posted and assembly was easy, 10 allen bolts and everything else is just a simple insert "part A into part B". My cup of tea was still hot when I finished! Was concerned that the mesh back would not be as comfortable as my old padded back office chair, but if anything it is more so. The mesh provides a slight give that contours to your back, while shaped framework provides plenty of lumbar support. The seat cushion is thick and comfortable, time will tell if it is designed to hold up to daily use. But at this price point, if it holds up more than a year I feel that I would have got my money's worth!!! Edit 12 Nov 2020: The allen bolts that hold the arms in place (3 on each side) annoyingly need weekly tightening or they can fall out, and unfortunately the seat cushion is DONE. Will have to acquire a replacement as this one is VERY uncomfortable and is creating leg and back pain, after just 115 days of use (5 days per week x 23 weeks). I am dropping my overall rating from 4 stars to 2.

The chair was easy to assemble, has great support, and is decently constructed. By all accounts, it is a good chair. My only complaint is that the seat, while fairly comfortable, is a bit on the firm/hard side. Feels great to the hands but not so much to a bottom with a tailbone injury for long periods. Already had a foam ergonomic cushion for my old chair that was worn out, so that solves the 'hardness' issue, so overall I am very pleased, especially for the price of the item. Edit: After 3 months of having this chair, I have noted that the right arm does not adjust to the same level as the left (higher than left) and has gained a severe wobble. Chair seat has also began to wobble on it's attachment point to the cylinder.. at first tightening seat bolts seemed to help.. for about 30 minutes.. No longer so sure of the construction quality of this chair. TL;DR: Decently constructed and well priced chair with good support and easy construction, but seat could be softer. Q/A control is obviously a bit.. off.. given issues I am having after 3 months of ownership.
