Perfect for intended use
I bought an Amonax 30kg cast iron weight set and needed some extra dumbbell bars to assist in workouts, and these work perfectly with the plates from that kit. The weights fit (ergo the bar is the width as advertised), they feel lightweight but sturdy, the pieces connect well and they do the job. I’ve seen lots of negative reviews for this and I don’t understand how; they are two bars with connectors and work compatibly with other brands. I don’t think it’s right to rate a product down for being too thin when the size is advertised, especially when you can buy grips to bulk it out. Overall I’d recommend these if you need any/extra dumbbells, just read the sizes to make sure it works with your plates.

Very handy
Have been using it a while now with no issues - very handy if room is tight.

One side fitted fine, the other did not and took a bit of effort, unfortunately now neither side will come apart, just as well have another set of dumbbells to use

item does not fit dumbbells
this does not fit any standard 1 inch dumbbell. i tried this on 2 different dumbbell sets. the threads of the connecting bar are machined a too big and will not hold. DO NOT BUY!!!! 1 star is too generous

Too thick for most standard 1" plates
These are good quality, but are too thick for most standard 1" plates. I have a lot of various plates, a few for but are right, most do not.

Me permet de faire une barre d’haltères courte pour des hip thrusts ou des deadlifts peu chargés, si associé aux haltères de la même marque, dans un petit espace… c’est suffisant pour moi.

Barre moins épaisse que la moyenne

Works perfect for converting dumbells, little short but good enough to get a workout.

I bought the connecting bar and have been using it for about a month without issues. There were no defects that I could see in the machining and the knurling feels good (it's the same as what's on the handles if you have experience with those). I have not had any problems with the handles coming loose during lifts. The only "issue" I had with it is that it is difficult to screw the dumbbell handles into the connector while it is horizontal and the handles are weighted. I don't really consider this a downside though as it means they won't come loose on you while you are lifting. The easiest way to connect them is to place a stack of weights on the floor and then place one of the handles vertically in the hole (make sure that the plates are deep enough that the handle doesn't hurt your floor), screw the connector on, and then screw the other handle into the connector. Then place the bar horizontally and put your weights on the end. I've done a variety of lifts with this bar and I haven't found anything that it didn't work for but I am on the smaller side at 5'3 so while it is pretty much the perfect width for me a bigger guy could possibly find it to be a little narrow for some things
