Lightweight and compact. Got it few days ago and put it up on a couple of trees in the back yard. Went up easy and was as comfortable as it has strong support on the back and neck. It’s very easy to carry or pack into your bag. You can definitely find out it is lighter, comfortable and convenience. Also it is very durable too. I will use it for my camping in upcoming summer. Can’t wait. Just a thought. Love that it came with tree straps - so easy to use even for a first time tree hammock installer. The kids have really put this thing to the test over the last few days, and it has even gone thru multiple rains/wind storm. It's still in perfect condition. I like the double wide style for either letting a kid lie in it with me or lying diagonally. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem to work too well when I turn it over to try it without the net. The net rings at the ends seem to stay at a weird angle and wrap around the ends.
