These collars are the best. I always use these for training my dogs because they are non-slip with the martingale feature and very well made. I've had them last the life of my dogs. They wear well and clean up easily if they get dirty. The snap function is a great feature in making it very easy to remove them without having to adjust the collar to get it over the head. I prefer these collars to choke types because although they prevent the dog from slipping the collar, they are not meant to choke the dog which can damage the trachea not to mention scare the animal and interfere with training. With standard buckle collars, they are great for regular wear but in terms of training, lacking the martingale feature leaves the chance of a frightened or stubborn dog the opportunity to slip the collar, which can be disasterous in a training situation. These collars are my number 1 choice for my dogs because they are safe, good quality, and great value.

I have been using and recommending martingale collars for more than a decade. The two styles are either like this one by Petsafe with a clasp closure or the other option which is a collar with no plastic closure that is placed over the head of your dog. The safety aspect of this type of collar is important to understand as it was created (initially for sighthounds) so sighthounds could not back their head of out a regular collar. It works for most breeds and I highly recommend this product.

Great collars but needs the quick release buckle.

I love this training collar. It doesn’t hurt the dog. It’s made of quality material and the loop easily slides. I found out about this type of collar by the tv program called “Lucky Dog”. I highly recommend!

I was having big problems trying to walk my puppy and someone suggested a Martingale collar. I searched and found this one and decided to give it a try. The price was right and it did work well. My puppy had been choking herself trying to pull me or trying to run away while on leash. This helped tremendously. The only issue was she outgrew it so quickly. Also with this vendor the color choices are few. I had to go elsewhere for a color I preferred when it was time to purchase a larger size.

Very, very heavy. Neck size is perfect, but she is a small puppy and it is too heavy for her. Very disappointed.

Essa coleira realmente é perfeita. Minha cachorra sempre conseguia fugir com outras coleiras e com essa ela não consegue mais. Ela é ótima pq não machuca e evita a fuga nos passeios onde minha cachorra se assustava com barulhos ou a presença de outros animais.

I got this collar in the red color, but it looks more like a hot pink. Other than that, it feels very sturdy and is easy to figure out.

Great collar. Very easy to attach leash and also has a ring for tags. The easy snap closure makes it quick to do up and undo for our dog that doesn’t wear his collar indoors. Size small was perfect for my 14lb. Havanese.
