It works
Overall no complaints. Time will tell. I installed it on my Harley motorcycle. It is definitely bright at night. Functional wise no complaints. Fits and install is easy. No flickering issues. As for durability time will tell. I will post an update after this riding season.

Very Small and medium brightness
Much better than I expected. Not extremely bright but bright enough to get the job done. Small enough to not be an eye sore on my fender

Looks and works great
I’m not sure what other reviewers were talking about claiming these weren’t very bright, they’re almost too bright for license plate lights. The wire is insanely thin but it has to be so it can fit through the threaded end of this, they aren’t a high power draw light so they don’t need a heavier gauge wire any how. The down side to the thin wire is they don’t make any kind of connector I could find small enough to work with it. I ended up using some water proof crimp heat shrink red butt splices. I just carefully stripped the insulation off the wire so I could fold the bare wire back over itself 3 times to have enough metal conductor to crimp and hold. The only problem I had was when I first hooked them up, with colors correct per instructions for + and - they didn’t work. I don’t know if they got wired wrong internally at the factory or if the instructions were wrong, but I reversed the wires and they fired right up and worked great.

20 lumens
Great idea for projects! Light is directed where you want it. I mounted the lights aiming down. Mounting was easy enough. Hardware included is sufficient. The wire is pretty small stuff. I had to solder connectors on, as crimp on would not hold well. The light does not get in your eyes and distract you in this set up. The pattern is fairly wide. It’s not enough light to work by, but I’m not certain that was the intention. I thought it would be, but that was my misunderstanding of the product specs. Is it enough to illuminate a license plate, maybe with 2 lights. I only used one, as you can see in the pic.

They will function at less than 12 volts.
I'm am actually using them as console illumination on a portable stereo keyboard amplifier system I am putting together. I am running them on only 9 volts (75% power), but they do an excellent job, so I would expect them to be really bright at the full 12 volts when mounted on an automobile. I hope to never test how weatherproof they are as the rest of the system wouldn't survive being soaked. I am very happy with them: they give more than adequate light, because of their angle they don't dazzle the console operator, because they are very small (like two stacked sugar cubes) they don't get in the way of operating the controls, and all four of them totaled less than 12% of the cost of the LED goose-neck lighting they replaced. They are a wonderful solution for my need to see meters and controls without disturbing people around me. Do-it-yourselfers should think about them in other applications like illuminating the front door entry lock so you can see where to put the key. Consider them for low level stair lighting, night lights, book lights, etc.! Mount them on power tools! Your imagination is the limit.

Bon produit et parfait pour ma moto

Not bright enough
These might be better if they mounted from the back of the plate with a nut on the front. Unless you use a connector of some type, you can't remove the plate without cutting the wires. Ended up going back to stock licence plate on the fender eliminator. Thru these in a box with all the other spare parts. Might use on something else for "effect" lighting...

Very poor quality.....
Haven't even hooked the lights up. And dont think I will be. The quality is so poor on these it wouldn't even make it a day on canadian roads. Literally and led light with hot glue on it. And wasn't even sealed or leveled out nice.
