A: I believe it's a factory magnet. The high speed magnet is more expensive.

**Q: Will this work for my 1996?**
A: Don’t think it will because the controller is different in later models like my 2007.

**Q: will this part fit the 2006 modle ?**
A: I don’t know. If it is an IQ, then it will.

**Q: Does this fit 2008 precedent ?**
A: It fit my 07 perfectly. If you have an IQ Precedent, and you most likely do, it will fit.
