container not detected
I purchased the Vitamix Aer Disc Container (48 oz), which was advertised as being compatible with all full-size Vitamix blenders, with great excitement, intending to use it ahead of the Christmas season to prepare chocolate mousse. Unfortunately, when I attached the container to my Vitamix A3500 Ascent Blender, although it fit securely, the blender did not detect the container and would not operate. After researching the issue, I discovered that this container may not be compatible with UK models, possibly because it lacks the chip required to recognise UK RFID tags. This crucial information was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.

Is not compatible with UK vitamix A3500i
Would really appreciate it if Vitamix would make this item available for the the UK market - it sounds terrific and I am so looking forward to that time - HURRY UP VITAMIX!

Been let down by Vitamix
I think Vitamix pulled a fast one regarding their EU/UK customers. The reason why I think this is because they lack off accessories for this very expensive machine. I have been contacting Vitamix ever since I bought this machine two years ago, and have never got a definite answer to when they are going to start thinking about their other customers apart from the American and Canadian one's because to me it was just one big shame to sell their most expensive machine then leave you high and dry. My advice would be to buy another machine. Please don't get me wrong I love my Vitamix but they have let us down.

Not compatible with machines ending in ‘i’ or EU/U.K. machines.
These do not work with EU / U.K. Vitamix machines in the Ascent series ending ‘i’. They have a special sensor and will not recognise these containers. This should be noted in the U.K. amazon. Contact Vitamix and request they hurry up and manufacture these for foreign markets, as I have. The more people who request them, the sooner they may get on with it. Same applies to the 48 ounce wet/dry containers on the ascent series.

I don't drink coffee so I don't know what the foamy milk thing is and I don't like Mojitos, but I bought an AER anyway. I make my own syrups for sodas so I thought this might be helpful, but not so much I'd buy one. However, I LOVE homemade gingerale. I used to make it all the time but it takes so long, but mostly involves more clean up than I want, so I stopped. I bought the AER specifically to make gingerale. Anything else I make in it is a bonus. I wasn't sure if the 5 minutes at high speed was enough to extract the ginger flavor including the real spicy-ness I love, but it does! It made fantastic ginger syrup! I threw the ginger in to the food processor and sliced it up. Then 2 cups water, 1.5 cups sugar and a heaping 3/4 cup sliced ginger in to the AER. 5 minutes later it was awesome ginger syrup. All I had to do was strain it in to a jar and I was ready for gingerale. Cleaned up so fast, I had everything done, washed, sliced, ingredients in, blend and cleaned, bottled and put away in about 15 minutes. Now I need to test seriously reducing the sugar amount and seeing how large the ginger chunks can be to make this work. I know this attachment isn't for everyone, but for me, it is a game changer!

This one fits the E301 Vitamix like a glove. As an ex-restaurant chef I hope to emulsify my sauces quicker and with a great consistency !

I like what I saw on you tube, but it’s not compatible. Does not recognize the product. Not working. I bought my vitamin from Takashimaya, it’s A3500 ascent.
