Slim and bright!
The NEBO INSPECTOR RC Pen Light is an excellent everyday carry flashlight! It’s compact enough to clip in my pocket or attach to a bag, yet it puts out a powerful 360 lumens on high—more than enough for inspections, emergencies, or general use. The 4x zoom lets me switch easily between spotlight and flood beam, and the three modes (high, low, strobe) cover everything I need. I love the Flex-Power option: it comes with a rechargeable battery but also works with standard AAA batteries as backup. It’s waterproof (IP67), durable, and the steel clip is sturdy. Battery life is solid, and recharging is quick via USB. This pen light has become a go-to tool in my EDC kit. Reliable, bright, and versatile—highly recommend! Would buy again.

Great EDC Flashlight
Such a useful size flashlight which produces a good amount of lumens. I carry this alongside my pen and markers, you really don't know it's there due to its size & weight. Plus, there's the added bonus that it's USB rechargeable.

Dropped into a mudded water drain for 2 1/2 days
I have been using this light for about 8 months now I am mechanic and had dropped this flashlight into a drainage accidentally while I was topping up some fluids within my engine bay. I put the flashlight in my pocket and it fell through a hole and lodged itself in some mud and moving water. I had a retractable magnet that it did not magnetize to, I was stumped and flustered. It was already getting dark and i did not have any other proper tools to pull the drain up and reach for it. Nor did I have a snake, or some sort of wire to make shift into a rescue harness for me to bring it up with. Fast forward two days, knowing I could reach it if I tried. I had found an old clothes hanger wire, and drove back the 25min distance away from where i lived to where I thought the flashlight's final resting place was going to be. It was still there, so I proceeded to make shift the wire into a spring like fixture. Enough for it drill into the mud with keeping the flashlight within the spring and hoist it up. It worked, I pulled it out and brought it home. I gave it a good heated parts wash and some bleach and it is still bright as I first bought it. I would definitely buy this flashlight again time and time again. I lifted the it out of the drain 9/26/23 and bought the flashlight 01/06/23, used daily for work, and all other needs and etc. It is a bright flashlight and does fit in your pocket, I love this thing and I just could not let it go. It is very durable and I almost bought another if I did not get my original one back. This light is worth every dollar and more, I was even looking into the other flashlights that they do sell, I might just buy a few. Get this light, do not hesitate or waste your time and money on anything other than this light.

Great flashlight
This flashlight is bright and lasts a good amount of time. I've had mine for about 3 years and I like it so much I bought another one so I could always have one fully charged on hand. In those 3 years I have accidentally left them in my jeans several times while they went through the wash. Flashlights still works, battery life seems unaffected. I left one in my jean pocket while I took a nap and accidentally snapped it in half. I was able to push the two pieces together and pop it back in place. Flashlight still works and still feels solid. I only have two gripes about it, both are personal preferences. One, it's not USB-C. Two, it has a short throw distance. About 20-30ft (6-9m). Which makes sense because it's an inspection light so it isn't supposed to cast far...but living in the countryside where it gets really dark, the farther I can see the better. Would I buy it again? Yes, unless I found a comparable flashlight with my two gripes addressed.

The NEBO Inspector RC
Let me just start off by saying this is a great little light! I've only had this light for about a week, but I've owned many a small pocket lights over the years and this is one of the best I've tried! It's got a pretty good anodizing and a very strong body, I dont feel like I need to worry if I drop this from head hight (I'm 6'4") onto concrete. It feels very strong, as does the pocket clip. The clip is fairly long, so I dont feel like I gotta keep checking to make sure I still have it. The clip is removable, which is pretty easy to do. Now that doesn't mean that it will just come off at any moment, it has a very good hold of the light, it doesn't swivel around unnecessarily or feel loose by any means. The light has O ring seals that provide the water proof rating of IP67. They are numerous, with one in the head of the light along with two protecting the micro USB charging port. There are also two O ring seals on the tail cap switch protecting the battery compartment. Which already has a rechargeable battery installed from the factory. Even though it touts rechargeabilty, it will also run off a pair of any standard AAA batteries too, making it quite the versatile little light. The tail cap switch is exposed which can be down side to some, but I feel the the pressure needed to activate the light negates that enough that I dont feel like I need to worry about wasting power unnecessarily. The switch is quite nice, actually it's my favorite thing about the light. It's a really good rubber, it doesn't feel like it'll wear out anytime soon, that also goes for the actual switch underneath. The switch just tacky enough that I'm not gonna slip trying to use it. The little embossed NEBO logo on the switch helps with that as well. It does have momentary with a half push of the switch, which allows you to much more quickly cycle through the three settings. Now that we got all the bells and whistles out of the way, let's talk about what we're all here for... The light! The manufacturer claims it is rated at 360 lumens, which seems about right. Now according to the NEBO website, the light is capable of 360 lumens on HIGH, 120 for LOW and 360 for the STROBE feature. According to the NEBO website, those figures are with the rechargeable battery. Unfortunately the website also says that the light will have lower output with AAA batteries, coming in at just 100 lumens on HIGH. But personally, I'd just buy a couple more rechargeable lipo batteries to have on hand. They're super cheap these days anyways. The light also has what NEBO calls a 4x zoom lens. What this means is that you are able to rotate the head of the flashlight from a wide beam of light (floodlight) to a small beam of bright concentrated light (spotlight). The twist function is simple and intuitive. NEBO claims that the Inspector RC is capable of throwing light out to 125m/410ft (no candela info available). Alright now it's time to talk about the things nobody wants to, but matter most... The negatives! So my biggest gripe is that the light absolutely does not reach out to 125m. Sure the light throws fairly far, but you run out of useable light at about 30m. That's a pretty big difference from the factory's claims... Now that doesn't mean that the light is trash. It's actually quite the opposite, it really is a very good light, just not at any real distance. But with the claims they made about the distance of the beam being pretty unrealistic, that was a pretty big bummer. I like my edc pocket light to be able to reach out into the dark. Since we're talking about the the beam power at distance, let's talk about that 4x zoom... Now I'm just gonna start this bit by saying I've never really been a fan of those focus-able lenses. They never really hold up to my level of reliability. This one isn't too much different. To be honest, I'd rather do away with the focus-abilty on this light, I like it better without it. The light is just much more usable in the wide "floodlight" focusing. When used in the "spotlight" focusing, it just leaves a lot to be desired with both the strength of the light and the useable distance. My only other negative I have and it's really just a small one... The pocket clip is a little bit too flush with the body of the light. I wish it was just a little bit more substantial in what it will clip over without deforming. I wear 5.11 pants everyday, they have an extra bit of fabric laid over the pockets where most people keep their pocket knives to protect the pants from the knives clips. It didn't really fit over my pocket very well, but I'll be the first to admit, it's a pretty minor complaint and most people likely won't have this issue. My final word? Buy it! It's a great little light that will absolutely meet most people's needs for a small pocket friendly light. Clutch!
I use this to assist in finding deep veins or veins in darker skin tones. Excellent on medium! I use high beams when trapsing around patients houses on 911 calls to find a way in when they’re too injured to open the door. Handy light! I’ve used another Nebo at home for years! Solid products! My other one is about 12 yrs old and still works! The fact that this one is rechargeable is even better!

Great company to buy from!
TL;DR got a whole new flashlight as a free replacement when my cap failed. Very bright. Decent battery life. Gets a little hot First of all, look how bright it is in my (very) well lit shop. Imagine what this bad boy does in the dark. Hint; it'll light up a whole bedroom What drove me to leave a review was the customer service. They call the cap a "bite cap" so naturally I thought I could hold the light by the bite cap with my teeth. However, it won't last too long if you do that. The light still turned on and everything, but using the button with the rubber piece torn was troublesome. I had to call and get a replacement cap. The process was made really simple. I called ACG, the company that owns Nebo, and they said they would send a new cap. I think it took a couple weeks to arrive, but hey, warranty is usually a slow process. Unfortunately, the wrong cap arrived. I called ACG again, let them know what happened. The lady on the phone seemed upset that this happened. She said she would send a whole new light instead. She had me verify that I actually owned the light, and about a week later, my new light was in Definitely a company worth doing business with. And the light itself is great. I've already attested to its brightness. And I've owned and used this light daily for 6 months. There are 3 modes you can cycle through; but what's cool is that once you turn it off for like 30 seconds, the cycle resets. So each time you turn it on, it'll start on high mode. I had other brand lights that don't do this, and you have to cycle through all the modes every single time you want to use the light. Because of how bright it is, it gets fairly warm. Not really an issue for me. I can use the light pretty heavily through the whole day before it needs a charge. I'm a mechanic and this is basically my main light; and I haven't had to stop in the middle of my day to charge it once. It definitely doesn't last me two days of heavy use, so I just charge it at the end of each day. And being able to switch to AAA batteries in a pinch is really nice. And since I have two of these lights, I put a comparison picture of the batteries in this review I don't really have anything bad to say about this light or Nebo or ACG. I hope this review convinces at least one person to buy this light. They really deserve it, and so do you

So happy.
So happy I found this been looking for it again. Had one I really liked but sadly my kids messed it up playing with it. It has a good output can see close or a ways of easily. Battery life is good. It’s compact so easy to store or carry doesn’t take up much room. There’s no flickering in the light. I also use this to look at my kids throats when they say it’s hurting and it does awesome with the zoom.

Super bright, feels solid, USB charge
This little pen light is great. Shipping was prompt, and it was double-wrapped for protection. The light comes with the USB connector, and after I charged it, it works perfectly. Even on the lower setting, it's nice and bright. Absolutely what I wanted. Thanks!

Bright and sturdy
The. Out of torch does not feel flimsy at all. It has a Strong metal feeling. Nice bright light. The on / off button feels a bit like it may wear out over time, but it’s too soon to tell. Overall very happy with this product.
