Corrosion-resistant and reliable lock-down washers. Great for automotive applications.
These Nord-Locks aren't cheap but I wanted something solid and corrosion-resistant. They are made of steel and have the Delta Protekt finish, which is perfect for my newly installed manual 4x4 hubs on a 2004 Nissan XTerra. I feel confident they are holding down the hub bolts and will withstand the salty winters on the East Coast.

Buy these to save time, money, and broke bolts.
Been using these on my imported mini excavator swing motor for several months now and have not need to retorque the bolts down. Great job!

It's a washer, it locks
Youโre the kind of person who reads reviews about locking washers, and honestly, I respect that level of dedication to hardware. It's a small yet mighty group of us here at the bottom of these Amazon review pages for fastener-related accessories. So, yeah. These are washers and they do exactly what they promise: they lock. Tightly. Their wedge design and zinc flake coating mean theyโre both functional and durable, even in demanding environments. **Pros:** - Theyโre precisely what they claim to be: locking washers that lock. - Reliable, durable design with zinc flake coating to combat corrosion. - Ideal for high-vibration environments where standard washers might fail. **Cons:** - On the pricier side, especially compared to generic washers. If youโre serious about keeping bolts in place and willing to pay a little extra for quality, the Nord-Lock Wedge Locking Washers are worth it.

Works really well, falls apart sometimes
These are really well made but are one time use mostly. They fall apart real easy but you can just connect them back together. I use these on my battery terminal screws on my motorcycle and it keeps the positive wire screw from loosening

Locking washer
The only lock washer that I know of that will not vibrate loose in high vibration areas. No need to retighten fasteners. High quality, durable and cost more than the regular washers but the old saying โyou get what you pay forโ applies here.

Excellent product for locking Caliper Mount Bolts
Purchased these to enable me to ensure that my C7 Z06 J56 Brembo Caliper bolts would work loose. GM and other manufacturers spec a ridiculously high torque spec that renders the bolt "Single Time" use as it's a TTY torque, Torque to Yield. I think the factory spec was like a 160 ft. lbs. With the Nord-Lock I would torque the caliper mount bolts to like 140 -145 ft/lbs, and then feel safe re-using bolts. Taking the car to track days meant I had the calipers off at least every spring, and some seasons once during the summer. Insane to keep purchasing new Caliper mounting bolts every time. Great product, and I was able to re-use them for at least 3 cycles before the locking ridges started showing some signs of rounding off the sharp edges.

Good washers for keeping muffler on chainsaw
The washers themselves seem like a great design. I used them to keep the muffler on my chainsaw. Previously it had fallen off because the bolts wouldn't stay in. Only time will tell if they work. I did notice that the description states they are glued together. The glue doesn't hold very long and they fall apart almost as soon as you pick them up. I'm not sure, but I don't think it matters as long as you put them together the same way when you use them. The only negative I have is that the company initially sent me the wrong size. But it was easily taken care of online at Amazon and I got a new package with the proper size in a few days.

Keeps things tight, just like they should! 2019 Chrysler Pacifica.
Picked up a set of these to install on the axle shafts of my 2019 Pacifica and they work like a charm. For some reason the Pacifica doesn't have any sort of "locking" mechanism for their axle nuts, not even any sort of knurling on the face of the nut. You torque it down to the recommended foot-pounds and a a week later it has loosened itself. Some have tried going with a higher than recommended torque value and they still loosen up. This is happening to a surprising number of people based on what I've read in a Pacifica forum. Some bright sole in that forum came across these and gave them a try. Worked like a charm them. Other have tried them and had the same success. I figured what do I have to lose, so I bought a set myself, installed them, and torqued the nuts to the recommended value. I am very happy to say that I have checked the axle nuts 3 times over the last few weeks, and they are no longer backing off and loosening up. These lock washers have solved the problem for myself and many others. I highly recommended them for anybody with a 2017 to 2022+ Chrysler Pacifica that has the axle nut issue!

Expensive
Very expensive for just a washer.

Awesome
I've used these for safety sensitive drill rig operations. work like a charm. there's a good solid "crack" if you need to loosen them for whatever reason. Worth the investment.
